What's it like to work in Thermo Fisher Scientific Shier Technology?
As an intern in the training team of HR department, my work is very interesting and diverse.

During my internship, I have basically understood the internal training process of the enterprise. The following is my work content.

1, assist in daily training activities.

Like many companies, Thermo Fisher Scientific Shier also has its own corporate university, named Thermo Fisher Scientific Shier China University. Every year, Thermo Fisher Scientific Shier Technology 12 China University provides various face-to-face courses for employees to choose from. There are a wide range of courses, including office software training such as PPT, Excel and Outlook, as well as emotional stress management, mind mapping and leadership training, which are helpful to the development of the workplace.

Besides, we also have many online courses, such as business English, leadership competitiveness and so on. In short, the types of courses are rich and varied, and each course can be enough. So before the training, I have to make a training package, which contains a sign-in form, course certificates and so on, and put the snacks and teaching materials for tea breaks in the training classroom.

On the day of training, I will be responsible for students signing in, ordering food at noon and issuing certificates after class in the afternoon. After the training, record the attendance according to the sign-in form, then make the training expense allocation table and financial table, make the training evaluation table, and finally upload all these data to the database, so that a training process is completed.

Of course, because there are so many trainings, we three interns will be responsible for supporting different training activities.

2. Assist new employees in induction training.

The orientation training for new employees is held in Ramada Hotel opposite the company. I have done auxiliary work on site, such as taking time cards, handing out prizes and showing employees around the company's laboratory. My experienced HR sister is in charge of other jobs.

3. Translation

Because Thermo Fisher Scientific Shier Technology is a foreign company, many emails and training materials are in English, and sometimes they need to be translated into Chinese.

Step 4 Buy training materials

I often need to buy some training snacks, stationery, books and various materials. As long as I need training, I will buy it at buy buy!

5. Edit WeChat

Almost every week, we tweet on the company's official WeChat account, with various contents, including highlights about learning and sharing, workplace, stress management, communication and so on.

Step 6 record micro-lessons

My friend's job also includes recording micro-lessons, mainly to show some requirements and corporate values of the company to employees in the form of micro-lessons. This micro-lesson is a combination of PPT and audio, and there are 8 sections in one section. Although each paragraph is not long, my friends work hard every time they record it. If they make a mistake, they will have to start over.

Step 7 make a website

Are there any works that are super tall? This is also my friend's responsibility. They learned the relevant knowledge of making web pages, designed web pages according to requirements, and added video icons, and the results were super beautiful. Of course, this job is also very challenging. After all, it is their first contact with website design, and they need to use various software to cut and adjust. In short, it is very cool!

8. Others

Report the invoice to the financial department every day and stamp it to the legal department.

As my first internship, this is the first time that I have changed from a student identity to a professional identity, stepped out of the ivory tower and stepped into the society. This change in identity is enormous. You need to adapt quickly to the work in the workplace and turn your student thinking into workplace thinking.

It is obvious to me that as a student, you will have a teacher to teach you this and that. But in the workplace, you no longer have a teacher to let you learn this and that. Everything, you need to learn by yourself, to see how people in the workplace handle a thing, to learn how to deal with such things, to communicate with people at work, to learn how to communicate and how to treat others.

Learning ability is particularly important in work. You need to start a task quickly, get familiar with it, do it well, and finally try to improve a small link to improve work efficiency.

Work is full of learning. It can be your own hard skills or your own soft skills. As long as you observe and study hard, you will always get something.
