1, College of Special Education, Changchun University, Jilin Province (undergraduate), is the first higher special education college in China to recruit blind, deaf and disabled students. Founded by China Disabled Persons' Federation and Jilin Provincial People's Government on 1987.

2. The School of Special Education (undergraduate) of Binzhou Medical College in Shandong Province established the first undergraduate department in China to recruit disabled teenagers, mainly to recruit students with physical disabilities for a five-year clinical medical training.

3. The Technical College for the Deaf of Tianjin University of Technology (undergraduate), the first higher engineering special education college in China, is also one of the only four higher engineering colleges for the deaf in the world.

4. Direction of Information and Resources in Special Education College of Chongqing Normal University (undergraduate). Since 2005, it has become the first university in western China to recruit disabled candidates.

5. The College of Special Education of Beijing Union University (3-year junior college and undergraduate course) undertakes many tasks such as training special education teachers, higher education for the disabled, guiding teaching and scientific research in special schools in Beijing. This is the first college of its kind in China. Blind and deaf candidates all confess.

6. Computer (special education) major, School of Information Technology, Nanjing Jinling Institute of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Province (3 years of junior college, undergraduate course).

7. Major in Environmental Art Design, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (3-year junior college, undergraduate).

8. Jiangsu Nanjing Vocational and Technical College of Special Education (majoring in art design in the Department of Fine Arts, 5-year college and 3-year college), formerly known as Nanjing Special Education Normal School, was the first national special education normal school founded by the Ministry of Education in 1982 and the only independent higher special education school in China.
