Jilin normal university

Jilin Normal University, referred to as "Jilin Normal University", is located in Siping City, Jilin Province. It is a key university in Jilin Province, the implementation agency of the excellent teacher training plan of the Ministry of Education, the Jilin Province high school teacher training center, the university teacher training center and the teacher education research center. It has been selected into the National College Students' Cultural Quality Education Base and the China Municipal Government Scholarship Receiving Institution for Foreign Students in China.

Jilin Normal University was founded as Siping Teachers College, 1958. 1962 to 1966, Jilin provincial government merged tonghua normal college, baicheng normal college and Jilin normal college into Siping normal college. 1973, the school was upgraded to Siping Normal College and renamed Jilin Normal University in 2002.

changchun university

Changchun University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, is a provincial comprehensive university in Jilin Province. It is the first batch of institutions of higher learning in China with the qualification to recruit international students in China. It has been selected into the scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students in China, the "Two Million Plan" of the Ministry of Education, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the national pilot college of higher integrated education for the disabled, the national demonstration college of deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, and the high-level specialty construction project of Jilin Province.

The school's predecessor was Changchun Institute of Industrial Accounting and Statistics founded by the former Ministry of Industry of Northeast People's Government 1949, which trained the first batch of industrial accounting and statistics talents for new China. The school has changed its name several times in the process of national development and the changes of the times. 1983 was renamed Jilin Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
