Adult certificate is recognized by the state. Academic certificates issued by ordinary institutions of higher learning, adult institutions of higher learning and private schools approved by the state education authorities are recognized by the state.

Beijing Adult Massage School is a subordinate institution of the Blind Massage Guidance Center of China Disabled Persons' Federation, with independent legal personality. It is the only national training, assessment and appraisal base for health massage and aromatherapy backbone teachers and examiners in the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and it is a demonstration unit integrating skills training, scientific research, technical guidance and academic exchange between health care massage therapist and aromatherapy health care teachers.
