The first time I saw the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, what impressed me the most was Cao Cao. After reading it, he did not hesitate to define Cao Cao as a reactionary, especially when he killed his relatives angrily. But later, after careful taste, I understood the connotation.

Knowing this, what Cao Cao did later is worth understanding. The author Luo Guanzhong once commented that he was "a minister capable of managing the world, a treacherous man in troubled times", which is also my evaluation of Cao Cao. The so-called "treacherous man" is the most comprehensive summary of Cao Cao's character. He has a treacherous side, but it is different from the villain's adultery against Dong Zhuo and his like, because he also has the great talent to dominate and unify the whole country. Sometimes he will take a tolerant attitude. When Liu Bei and Guan Yu were subordinate to him, he treated them with courtesy. Such seemingly contradictory words and deeds made him a typical figure with historical depth.

Wisdom is unique-Zhuge Liang

Liu Bei visited the cottage and accompanied Zhu Gekongming out of the mountain. His coming out of the mountain means that the situation of three-thirds of the world has begun; His death means the collapse of the situation in the three countries.

The author endowed Zhuge Liang with superhuman wisdom. Therefore, he knows the general trend of the world like the back of his hand, and he also understands the truth that "man proposes, God disposes". However, he was moved by Liu Bei's sincerity in "looking after the cottage" and resolutely devoted himself to the cause of "reviving the Han Dynasty", knowing that it was impossible, which constituted the most tragic story of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

In fact, I think Zhuge Liang is not "smart" but "love". Throughout Zhuge Liang's life, Zhuge Liang devoted himself to Liu Bei until he died. Such as Longzhong's decision-making, opening the prelude to the three-point world; Discuss Taoism with Confucianism and strengthen Sun Quan's determination to resist Cao Cao; Thirdly, the Jingzhou base area was stabilized; Liu Bei attacked Wu and trusted Zhuge Liang. In retrospect, perhaps the author's name "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" has some meaning. Think about it carefully, I think it is really meaningful. The word "righteousness" is homophonic "deduction", that is, "deduction". Perhaps the author wrote this in order to "deduce" a truth, that is, "righteousness". And this kind of "righteousness" is the noble quality of solidarity and mutual assistance from the lower classes of society and warmth of hands and feet.
