How to edit references with WORD and sort them automatically!
1. First open a Word document, as shown in the figure. Suppose we want to insert a reference mark at the position in the diagram.

2. Move the cursor to this position, click "Reference" in the menu above, and then select "Insert Endnote".

3. As shown in the figure, the default symbol appears at this time, and the format needs to be modified to conform to the standard format of references.

4. As shown in the figure, after selecting the annotation symbol, click the small arrow next to the footnote to open the footnote and endnote dialog box. Select the Symbol button, change the custom symbol to bracket format, and then click Insert.

5. At this point, the reference label format is generated. Simply enter the referenced reference in the drawing. To add a reference elsewhere, just repeat the above steps.
