Lu Mingjun, born in 1962, graduated from Jilin University with master's and doctor's degrees. He is currently an associate researcher at the Chinese Academy of Art, a member of the Academic Committee of the China Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the China Literature Society, and a member of many universities in distinguished professor.

Calligraphy works have participated in more than 20 national exhibitions sponsored by China Calligraphy Association, China Youth Exhibition, Lanting Award Exhibition, and National Calligraphy Masters Invitation Exhibition, and won prizes in the first and second national book exhibitions, the eighth China Youth Exhibition and the eighth Star Award Exhibition of the Ministry of Culture. They participated in a series of calligraphy exhibitions sponsored by China Painting and Calligraphy Institute and published a variety of calligraphy works.

He has published many academic papers, including Study on Zhuang Zhai and Study on Inscriptions in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. The research topic "The Origin and Interpretation of Inscriptions" is a national social science fund project, and "Chen Jieqi Chronicle" is a key research topic of Xiling Printing Society. The paper has participated in many national calligraphy seminars and won awards. He won the third China Lanting Calligraphy Award and the first China Fine Arts Award for theoretical criticism.
