How to cite references in paper writing
How to cite references in writing a paper is as follows:

References only list published influential references, and try not to use unpublished data and abstracts. Before submitting, you should compare the original sources of all documents, carefully check the contents of references, and preferably proofread them. When checking, make sure it appears in the text of the paper, and all the cited documents are listed in the contents of references, and make sure that the contents of references are cited in the paper.

Specific operation:

1. First, import the paper into word and get ready.

2. Find the references at the end of the article, and ensure that the numbering format of the references is correct (the numbering needs to be generated automatically, and cannot be added manually).

3. you can modify it from the menu bar > number (you need to select the text to modify when modifying). If there is no required number type, we can add the format we need by defining a new number format below.

4. After the numbering format is modified, prepare to quote references. For example, the first sentence of the first paragraph of the case paper needs to quote the reference 1, so we will put the mouse cursor at the end of this sentence before the period.

5. Next, click Reference in the menu bar >; Cross-reference, the cross-reference operation box pops up. Reference type: numbered item. Quoted content: paragraph number. Which number of project is referenced: Select 1.

6. After clicking Insert, the control operation box will not disappear, but the reference number has been quoted correctly, but it needs to be adjusted finally.

7. Select the referenced reference number and click Start > in the menu bar; Superscript, shortcut key: ctrl+shift++.

8. At this point, the work of citing references has been completed. To test, hold down ctrl and click the reference number with the mouse to jump directly to the location of the reference.
