Chifeng College was approved by the Ministry of Education from April 65438 to June 2003, and was formed by the merger of Chifeng Teachers College for Nationalities, Chifeng Education College and Chifeng Branch of Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University.
At the same time, it was merged into Chifeng Health School and Inner Mongolia Kindergarten Normal School to form a multidisciplinary comprehensive undergraduate college. College was born in Chifeng City, the birthplace of the world-famous "Hongshan Culture".

Among them, the major of history is the key training discipline in the autonomous region, the major of history is the construction point of national characteristic specialty, nine majors, such as computer science and technology, mathematics education, biological science, Mongolian language and literature (undergraduate and junior college), physics and nursing, are brand majors at the autonomous region level, and 14 courses, such as Mongolian rhetoric, prosthodontics and electromagnetism, are top-quality courses at the autonomous region level.
