How to transform the students with learning difficulties in the class

As the saying goes: "Gold is not full of red, and no one is perfect." Because each student's family environment, social environment, psychological quality and foundation are different, each student has certain differences. Therefore, there are more or less students with learning difficulties in every school and class. Students with learning difficulties are underachievers in the class, so it is difficult to do a good job. Students with learning difficulties often refuse to change after repeated instruction. If we give up their education, wouldn't it be contrary to the title of "engineer of human soul"? In addition, transforming students with learning difficulties is the requirement of implementing quality education. One of the core of quality education is to face all students. Only when all students are fully developed can the quality of the whole nation be improved. Only by effectively eliminating the fact that a large number of students with learning difficulties exist can we talk about facing all students. Here I want to talk about how to appreciate and transform students with learning difficulties according to my years of education and teaching work.

Appreciation is essentially a kind of motivation. According to research, a person who is not motivated can only play 20%-30% of his ability, and when he is motivated, his ability is 3-4 times that of before. This shows how important appreciation education is to the transformation of students with learning difficulties. To give full play to the transformation function of appreciation education to students with learning difficulties, we must be good at caring for students with learning difficulties; Be good at appreciating the bright spots of students with learning difficulties; Good at using appreciative comments; Be good at using appreciation education to enhance the cohesion of the collective.

First, we should be good at caring for students with learning difficulties and give them the courage to make progress.

There are certain reasons for the formation of students with learning difficulties. Therefore, it is necessary to go deep into reality, investigate and master the "sleepy" position of students with learning difficulties, and then give care and help. For example, Wang Xiaoqin, a classmate in my class, lacks maternal love in her life because of her parents' divorce. She is withdrawn and tired of learning, and her academic performance is greatly reduced. In view of this situation, I paid attention to my study and held a class meeting with the theme "We all want to help you". Everyone's enthusiasm infected her, and she said with tears that she should study hard and live up to the expectations of teachers and classmates. Since then, students in Qin Xiao have cheered up again. By the end of the semester, her grades had improved significantly. It can be seen that "caring" not only embodies the selfless love of teachers, but more importantly gives the students with learning difficulties the courage to advance.

Second, be good at appreciating the bright spots of students with learning difficulties and encouraging them to make progress.

The highlight is the advantage. Everyone has advantages, and students with learning difficulties are no exception. "Instead of laughing at students' obvious misconduct, we should praise their slight progress." Therefore, teachers should be good at discovering students' bright spots and developing their positive factors. Starting from this point, we can stimulate students' fighting spirit in learning and summon their courage to advance, so as to achieve the goal of transforming students with learning difficulties. There used to be a student in my class who didn't study well and liked to bully his classmates. Once, I found that the blackboard eraser that had fallen apart was repaired. After learning that the student took the initiative to study, I sincerely praised him, encouraged him to do more good deeds and called on the whole class to learn from him. Later, the student never bullied his classmates again and his grades improved. It can be seen that it is an effective method to transform students with learning difficulties from the bright spots.

Third, be good at using appreciative comments to enhance the self-confidence of students with learning difficulties.

Comments are an important part of evaluating students and one of the important ways to realize emotional communication between teachers and students. Traditional conduct evaluation ignores educational democracy and students' personality. Teachers virtually divide students into "good" and "poor", making good students better and poor students worse. To this end, I strive to change the traditional conduct evaluation into positive and appreciative comments in my work, so that every student feels confident and motivated. The time for writing comments does not need to be limited to the final period, nor does it need to stick to the Student Handbook, so it can be mastered flexibly. For example, when correcting students' homework, intentionally add one or two emotional comments after correcting: "You are great!" "Come on!" "You have made progress!" "The teacher appreciates your studious spirit!" "You are good!" Wait a minute. This is not only an affirmation for students to finish their homework, but also an encouragement and promotion for them. Especially for students with learning difficulties, they will be excited about it, thus enhancing their self-confidence and courage in learning.

Fourth, be good at using appreciation education to enhance the cohesion of the class.

Appreciation leads to success, and complaining leads to failure. What needs to be appreciated is not the good boy, but the appreciation that makes the good boy more and more excellent; It's not that bad children need to complain, but that complaining makes bad children worse and worse. As a class teacher, you should not always like to point out all kinds of mistakes in the class and criticize this and that, but downplay or say nothing about the good phenomena in the class. Because blindly criticizing and complaining will inevitably make students feel depressed and even rebellious, the educational effect is minimal. I think the head teacher should always praise the good people and deeds in the class, so that the students in the class will naturally feel that there are so many good people and deeds and excellent students in the class, and I should also win glory for the group. So as to stimulate students' love and confidence in the class collective and enhance the cohesion of the class collective. As long as the group is cohesive, students love the group and can think for the group, the behavior will be standardized. In such a collective, students with learning difficulties will naturally be edified and educated, and their transformation work will naturally get twice the result with half the effort.

Appreciation comes from the heartfelt love for students and education. "Without love, there is no education". It can also be said that there is no education without appreciation. Teachers should be able to respect and appreciate their students. More importantly, we should respect and appreciate students with learning difficulties. Because students with learning difficulties have many shortcomings, their thoughts are fragile and they are easy to form opposition with teachers. Teachers should know more about students with learning difficulties, care more about them, talk more with them and find their bright spots. At the same time, there should be less criticism, less anger and no corporal punishment. This naturally shortens the distance between teachers and students and eliminates the rebellious psychology of students with learning difficulties. It can be seen that appreciation is a bridge, a bridge of spiritual integration and spiritual intersection. This bridge is a green channel for us to transform students with learning difficulties. In this passage, teachers can only sprinkle "teacher love" on every student in the class. When love flows into students' hearts, it will turn into thirst for knowledge, respect for teachers and friendship for classmates. This kind of love is bound to get a good return, and this kind of love is a panacea for transforming students with learning difficulties.
