"The History of the Three Kingdoms, Zhu Gekongming": "Look at the world diligently, and make friends between the two generations", depicting an image of a loyal minister who devoted himself to Shu and died; Wen Tianxiang in the Northern Song Dynasty "Who has never died in life since ancient times? Let's cherish our history "expresses the author's lofty patriotic feelings that he would rather die than surrender."
These examples are all examples of loyalty, and this is just a drop in the ocean. What a noble word loyalty is.
However, I don't know when the word "foolish loyalty" appeared. Is loyalty stupid? Is there a problem?
There is nothing wrong with loyalty itself, just how to be loyal.
Loyalty is not just a matter for emperors or monarchs. Loyalty should be for the whole country, the whole nation and the common people. This is great loyalty. Emperors and monarchs only serve as a magnifying glass to show your talents and benefit the people. The ancient people's concept of resolutely safeguarding imperial power can only be classified as "foolish loyalty."
