1 Requirements Description and Analysis

It is the first and most basic to design a database system with good performance and make clear the requirements of application environment for the system. Especially, the application of data is very extensive and complex. If the information is not fully and carefully analyzed in advance, the design will be difficult to succeed.

Through the demand analysis stage, the overall application of the book management system is investigated in detail, the objectives of book management are determined, the basic data supporting the overall design objectives of the system and the demand for these data are collected, the needs of users are determined, and they are written into documents acceptable to users and database designers.

In fact, requirement analysis is one of the most difficult tasks in database development. Because, first, the system itself is variable, and the needs of users must be constantly adjusted to adapt to this change. Second, it is difficult for users to understand the functional processing of a certain part of the work.
