General activities include: opening ceremony, "Blessing for the New Street", tourism exhibition, snack square, Wenzhou tourism promotion conference, literary evening and so on.

Among them, Blocking the Street for Blessing has local characteristics and is full of folk culture.

"At the end of spring, the gods compete, the streets are blessed, the ladies and gentlemen travel at night, and spring is in power." Originated in the Qing Dynasty, the custom of "blocking streets and praying for blessings" was once very popular and grand among Wenzhou folk. Until the beginning of the last century, every year in the spring of February of the lunar calendar, from the recreation square in the urban area to the streets and alleys behind the houses on March 16th of the lunar calendar, the main streets and alleys in Wenzhou took turns to carry out the activities of "blocking the streets and praying for blessings", with lights decorated and stringed instruments ringing, praying for a bumper harvest, national prosperity, favorable weather and good health. The last time in the old society of Wenzhou "blocked the streets and prayed for blessings" was in 1947. After appeals from some cultural circles, in order to promote national culture and rescue and protect cultural heritage, the municipal government decided to restore "Street Happiness". In Wenzhou Tourism Festival in 2002, "New Street Blessing" reappeared in Wuma Street, a century-old street, and citizens rushed to see a folk event. However, due to space constraints, the event was forced to cancel halfway.

In 2005, "Bujiefu" will move to Century Square, with a larger venue and scale. Because the street of "blocking the street and praying for blessings" is the main body, and in order to embody the concept of "street", the organizer specially imitated the old Wenmu Street shop on Jin Dong Road and built an old street with a length of more than 450 meters. Both ends of the street are blocked by traditional archways, and both sides of the street are in the form of shops, which display Wenzhou folk arts and crafts products, characteristic light industrial products, gourmet snacks and so on. There are 13 landscapes made by Wenzhou folk artists in the center of the block. For example, the entrance is a "smooth sailing" composed of the ship models of Wang Along, a descendant of shipbuilding industry, showing the "treasure ship" model and "green eyebrow" model of Zheng He's voyage to the West; Among them, Aoshan, Taige, Bench Dragon, Shouxing, Pearl Lantern and so on have a history of more than 300 years. In addition, there are figures, flowers and birds, landscapes and other Mid-Autumn decorations made by Yu Shifeng, a folk color-tying artist, and a set of agricultural tools such as the Qing Dynasty wooden dragon water car collected by Wenzhou Museum.

"Eat, eat, play, play", this street station can not only eat and watch, but also the citizens can interact and participate in fun. Put the traditional folk guessing activities in Wenzhou on the stage, hold the city-wide guessing contest and the children's fun game contest. In addition, there are some traditional folk competitive skills, which will be met with the public through the transformation and improvement of the competition rules.
