According to the understanding of the academic hall, the number of abstract words of master's thesis is generally around 1000 words. Unless there are special requirements, it can be expanded to about 2000 words.
The following points should be paid attention to when writing the abstract of master's degree thesis:
(1) Abstract should be independent and self-explanatory, and have the same main information as the document, that is, you can get the necessary information without reading the full text of the document. Therefore, the abstract is a complete essay that can be quoted. Don't think that "the full text is behind", the summary can be simple and casual.
(2) To objectively and truly reflect the original content, we can appropriately emphasize the innovation and importance of the research, and try to include the main arguments and important details (important arguments or data) of the paper.
The abstract of the paper includes four parts: purpose, method, result and conclusion.
1, use
Briefly point out the purpose and research scope of this work.
2. Method
Briefly explain the basic methods of the research topic, including the objects (grouping and the number of cases in each group, the number of control cases or animals, etc. ), materials and methods (including dosage and repetition times of drugs used, etc.). ). Need to pay attention to special statistical methods.
3. Results
Briefly list the main results (indicating the unit), data, statistical significance (P value), etc. And explain their values and limitations.
4. Conclusion
Briefly explain the correct viewpoint, theoretical significance or practical value and popularization prospect obtained from the research results. The Chinese and English titles, authors' names (at most 3) and authors' units (postal codes) should be marked before the Chinese and English abstracts. English abstracts should be printed on alternate lines for revision.
