Difference between full-angle and half-angle in Chinese input method
The difference between full-width and half-width of input method: the size of characters occupied is different. In the state of half-angle input method, characters only take up one byte, which can be understood as equivalent to half a Chinese character. In the all-angle input method, one character occupies two bytes, which is equivalent to one Chinese character.

Switch between full-angle and half-angle input methods as follows:

1. First, open a window where you can enter text, such as a word document.

2. After opening the word document, select an input method. At this time, you can see that the input method is a full-angle input method, which can be seen according to whether the period is a hollow dot. There is another way to distinguish. Some input methods have a sun icon in full-angle state.

3. Then click the period icon with the mouse. At this point, the period becomes a solid point, and the other display is a half-moon icon, which is a half-angle input state.

4. In addition to clicking the period icon, you can also press and hold the shiftJ key on the keyboard to switch directly.
