Ancient short stories about desire. Is this composition material or should it be written longer?
Tolstoy, a famous Russian writer, wrote a short story: a farmer worked hard to cultivate a small piece of barren land every day. An angel sympathized with the farmer's situation and told him that as long as he could continue to run around, all the places he ran belonged to him. So the farmer ran forward excitedly. Tired of running, I want to stop and have a rest. However, I thought that my wife and children needed more land to live in, so I ran desperately to it ... someone told him that you should run back, otherwise, you would be finished. The farmer didn't listen at all. He just wants more land, more money and more enjoyment. However, he was exhausted by heart failure and fell to the ground and died. Life is gone, land is gone, everything is gone, and desire makes him lose everything.
