It is often said that reading is not as good as doing business, and spending time reading is not as good as making money by doing business at last. From this perspective, doing business is not as good as reading to make money. Humans don't need to study at all, just do business. Look at those businessmen who drive Mercedes-Benz BMWs instead of mink and fur hats. There seems to be some truth in this. Think about the consumption concept of "not seeking the best, but seeking the most expensive" when businessmen consume. I'm afraid there are not many people who don't think that studying is not as good as doing business!

However, I don't think so. I don't agree with the view that "studying is not as good as doing business". Reading and doing business are both ways to enjoy, but the results are different. Reading can get spiritual enjoyment, and doing business can get material enjoyment. Spirit and matter are not on the same social level, so reading and doing business can't be compared, so there is no difference between who is inferior and who.

Nevertheless, there are some connections between studying and doing business. Reading helps to do business, and the way and level of doing business can be improved by reading. The former has the ability to assist the latter, that is to say, doing business is the basis of gaining experience in practice, and reading can expand the scope of knowledge, so as to know more ways and means of doing business and achieve the purpose of improving the level of doing business. Of course, reading is definitely more than these benefits. Reading can also make up for people's mental defects, shape people's character, and make people wise, witty, thorough, solemn and eloquent.

As a student, we should first improve our abilities in all aspects. As for whether to do business or not, let everyone choose for themselves! I personally advocate reading more books to lay a good foundation for future development.
