Review on the Development of Scientific Research Institute of State Grain Bureau
"Research on Basic Standards of Important Science and Technology for Grain and Oil Storage and Processing in China" is a major scientific and technological task assigned by the Ministry of Science and Technology, which is organized and implemented by the Academy of Grain Sciences. This project is of great significance to meet the needs of China's grain production, circulation and market supervision for basic standards of science and technology after China's accession to the WTO, enhance the competitiveness of China's grain industry in the international market, and provide important technical basis for the government's macro-decision.

"Study on the mechanism, classification and standard of food functional factors" is a key project of the special fund for basic science and technology work of the Central Research Institute, which is presided over by the Grain Academy. The research contents of this project include: (1) the structure and mechanism of five kinds of food functional factors (protein, cereals, lipids, pigments and flavonoids); Study on the evaluation method of the efficacy of product functional factors in lowering blood pressure and blood lipid: research on the detection methods and techniques of more than ten representative food functional factors in five categories; Study on systematic scientific classification method of food functional factors.

"Research on Prevention and Control of Mycotoxin Pollution in Stored Grain in China" is a social public welfare scientific research project undertaken by the Academy of Grain Sciences. This project studies the comprehensive prevention and control strategy of mycotoxin pollution in China's grain storage, pollutant reduction treatment technology and the influence of mycotoxin reduction treatment on grain quality, which is of positive significance to ensuring national food security and promoting grain trade at home and abroad.

"Study on the quality and safety of edible oil" is a social welfare research project undertaken by the Academy of Grain Sciences. This topic studies the relationship between the quality stability of edible oil products and safe eating index, processing technology, storage conditions and packaging materials; The influence of different processing technology, storage conditions and packaging materials on the safe edible index of edible oil is conducive to improving the national awareness of safety and self-protection of edible oil and reducing diseases caused by oxidative deterioration of oil.

"Research on low-temperature grain storage technology of grain cooler and mechanical refrigeration" is an applied research project carried out by Grain Academy according to the needs of grain industry. The project has gone through the process from prototype development to industrialization, producing more than 60 kinds of products, with a sales income of 85 million yuan. Mainly used for low-temperature storage of corn, rice and oil in grain depots, rice mills and oil plants. Tested by the National Compressor Refrigeration Equipment Testing Center, 60% of the performance indexes of the product are higher than those of similar foreign products, and the granary refrigeration effect and the actual operation efficiency of the equipment are obviously better than those of similar foreign equipment, which is of great significance for popularizing green grain storage, reducing drug fumigation, improving grain storage quality and reducing grain storage loss. In recent years, the Academy of Grain Sciences has passed the acceptance of 13 national scientific research projects, completed 5 standard revisions and planned projects, obtained 7 national patents, and 2 invention patents are being accepted; Published more than 80 academic papers. Patents obtained include: air inlet of air cooler (patent number: 0023 125 1 4), heat dissipation structure of grain cooler (patent number: 00208955,6), driving device of grain cleaner (patent number: 01224832,0), and.

Progress has been made in the transformation of science and technology industries and achievements.

The farinograph and tensile tester developed by the Academy of Grain Sciences have been widely used in the grain industry, and their excellent performance and relatively low price are generally welcomed by domestic scientific research units, universities, quality inspection departments and grain and food production units. Over the past two years, we have produced and sold more than 50 sets (including 30 farinograph and 20 tensile testing machines), with a sales income of 7.5 million yuan. The national "Tenth Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological research sub-project "Research on key technologies of feed grain resources development and utilization industrialization" has passed the acceptance test, and has been industrialized in feed industry and animal husbandry in Hunan, Jilin and other major producing areas, reaching an industrial production scale of 500,000 tons per year; The national key new product plan project "Improving oil-making technology to produce new high-efficiency and low-toxicity feed cottonseed meal" has been popularized and applied in many oil plants in Hunan, Henan and other provinces. The protein of cottonseed meal has been increased from 38%-40% to more than 46%-48%, and it has been popularized and applied in Henan, Guangxi, Hunan and other provinces for more than 200,000 tons. With scientific research projects as the link, the Academy of Grain Sciences actively carries out exchanges and cooperation with experts and scholars in related fields at home and abroad, as well as universities and research institutions. In terms of international exchange and cooperation: In August 2002, the "Sino-US Symposium on Wheat Quality" was organized to exchange and discuss the latest progress in wheat quality research between China and the United States. In September, 2003, he was invited to France Wheat Association, France ARVALIS Institute of Botany and Italy Ministry of Agriculture Grain Research Center for academic investigation.

From June 5 to 10, 2003, experts from Japan International Cooperation Agency were invited to have an academic exchange on the processing and storage of rice and wheat in Japan. In May 2004, experts from Australian Bread Research Institute were invited to have an academic exchange on the quality research of Australian wheat and oriental pasta.

From June 5, 2004 to 10, experts from the wheat quality research laboratory of the Agricultural Research Institute of the United States Department of Agriculture were invited to have academic exchanges on the wheat quality testing system of the United States Department of Agriculture, experimental wheat milling and laboratory bread baking. , and gave instructions to the laboratory operation of the Academy of Grain Sciences. From June 2004 to October 2004 10, he was invited to North Dakota State University, Kansas State University, Wheat Quality Laboratory of Agricultural Research Institute of US Department of Agriculture, and American Baking Research Institute for academic training and investigation of grain science research. In August, 2005, a delegation from Kansas State University visited China Academy of Grain Sciences on invitation. The two sides had academic exchanges and discussed further cooperation. From June 5th to 10, 2005, China Academy of Grain Sciences sent representatives to Argentina to attend the annual meeting of the International Organization for Standardization. From June 5 to 10, 2005, the delegation of "Biotechnology for Deep Processing of Grain and Oil" went to the United States to inspect the application of American biotechnology in the comprehensive development and utilization of grain and oil resources, the new biological control technology for stored-grain pests and harmful molds, the equipment and design of the laboratory for deep processing of grain and oil, and the equipment and design of the research laboratory for prevention and control of stored-grain pests.
