Shao, male, born in 1972, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Zhejiang University. 1999 graduated from the Department of Mechanics of Zhejiang University, Ph.D., and was promoted to associate professor in 2000 and professor in 2005. Currently, he is the executive editor of Journal of Fluid Mechanics, director of China theoretical and applied mechanics Society and director of Zhejiang Mechanics Society.

In recent years, he has won 2 national natural science foundation projects, 2 provincial and ministerial fund projects, participated in the 973 Project and the key national natural science foundation project 1, published more than 50 academic papers, won the first prize 1 and the second prize 1 for scientific and technological progress in Zhejiang Province, and was selected as the second-class talent project in Zhejiang Province.

1999 graduated from the department of mechanics of Zhejiang university with a doctorate and was promoted to professor in 2005. He used to be the eighth director of China theoretical and applied mechanics Institution, and now he is the vice president of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Zhejiang University, the executive editor of Fluid Mechanics magazine, the editor of Mechanical Quarterly, the member of the fluid mechanics professional group of the fluid mechanics professional committee of theoretical and applied mechanics Institution of China, the member of the youth working committee of theoretical and applied mechanics Institution of China, the director of Zhejiang Mechanics Society and the chairman of the fluid mechanics professional committee of Zhejiang Mechanics Society.

At present, the main research directions are multiphase flow and fluid mechanics. In recent years, it has won provincial and ministerial-level funded projects 12, more than 30 horizontal cooperation projects, published more than 90 academic papers, won the first and second prizes of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award 1, and was selected as 206550.
