How to connect and control servo motor with plc?
Plc connects and controls servo motors through special data lines, so it can be organically connected to form a relatively complete automatic control system. The connection sequence is as shown in the figure:

PLC: Programmable logic controller, which uses a programmable memory to store programs, executes user-oriented instructions such as logic operation, sequence control, timing, counting and arithmetic operation, and controls various types of machinery or production processes through digital or analog input/output.

Servo driver, also known as "servo controller" and "servo amplifier", is a controller used to control servo motor. Their function is similar to that of frequency converter acting on ordinary AC motor, and they are part of servo system, mainly used in high-precision positioning system. Generally, the servo motor is controlled by position, speed and torque to realize the high-precision positioning of the transmission system. At present, it is a high-end product of transmission technology.

Servo motor refers to the engine that controls the operation of mechanical parts in servo system, and it is an indirect transmission device of auxiliary motor.

Servo motor can make the control speed and position accuracy very accurate, and can convert voltage signal into torque and speed to drive the controlled object. The rotor speed of the servo motor is controlled by the input signal, and the response speed is fast. In the automatic control system, it is used as an executive element, which has the characteristics of small electromechanical time constant, high linearity and high starting voltage, and can convert the received electrical signal into angular displacement or angular velocity and output it on the motor shaft.
