Language is definitely not the invention of someone, because language is produced in the long-term communication of human beings, so language should be the product of society. It can also be said that people are the inventors of language. We can't say who invented Chinese.

A person's contribution to language should be in research and arrangement, and he can be called a linguist.

The same is true of sign language for deaf people. It should be produced by long-term communication between deaf people.

We can only infer who first studied and sorted out languages. But this person cannot be defined as the inventor of a certain language.

For example, the Department of Special Education of the School of Education of Beijing Normal University was the reviser of Chinese sign language in 2003, but we can never say that they are the inventors of Chinese sign language, they are only revisers and proofreaders.
