Hello everyone! The topic of my speech under the national flag today is "Cherish life and prevent drowning".
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Education, 6 1.6 1% of all kinds of campus safety accidents in primary and secondary schools reported all over the country in 2006 occurred outside the school, mainly drowning and traffic accidents. These two types of accidents accounted for 50.89% of the total number of accidents in the whole year, and the number of students killed exceeded 60% of the total number of accident deaths in the whole year. The main reason of drowning accident is that primary and middle school students have a weak sense of safety and often go swimming in non-swimming areas during summer vacation and holidays. Near midsummer, many students choose swimming as a summer resort. However, there has been another incident of students drowning in the newspaper recently, which is really distressing.
In order to actively respond to the "safety education" activity with the theme of "preventing drowning", create a safer study and living environment, and strive to prevent the recurrence of such tragedies, I hereby issue the following initiative to all students: 1, and at any time, you are not allowed to swim or splash water in rivers, rivers, lakes, ponds and reservoirs without permission. When going out for swimming and bathing, we should adhere to the "four don't go": don't go without the consent of parents and teachers; Don't go without adults who can swim; Don't go to deep water; Don't go to rivers, lakes, ponds and reservoirs that are unfamiliar with water conditions. 2. When swimming with the consent of the teacher's parents and accompanied by an adult who can swim, we should also remind and pay attention to the following points: ① Before swimming, we should choose a good swimming place and have a clear understanding of the water situation. Do not swim in water with warning signs such as "No swimming or deep water danger". (2) Be prepared before going into the water, and exercise first to move the joints of head, neck, shoulders, arms, waist and legs, hands and feet; If the water temperature is too low, wash your body with water in shallow water first, and then swim in the water after getting used to the water temperature. (3) into the water can't dive or sudden diving, also can't play with each other. Don't swim in rapids and eddies. 4 If you suddenly feel unwell during swimming (such as dizziness, nausea, chest tightness, palpitation, etc.). ), should immediately go ashore to rest or call for help. ⑤ Don't panic when swimming with legs or leg cramps. You can kick or massage and pull cramps, and call your peers for help.
Student: We are the future and hope of our country and nation. We should cherish youth, study hard, actively demand progress, constantly improve our own quality, and shoulder the heavy responsibility of history and the times. Let's take action, cherish life, prevent drowning and put an end to tragedy.
