During the whole experiment, volunteers with the same physical condition were divided into light diet and high salt diet. After a period of follow-up, the researchers found that mitochondria in monocytes of volunteers with high salt diet were inhibited, which happened after the first group also ate the same salt content as the second group. But as long as the high-salt diet is only a few times, the body will soon return to health, but if it is a high-salt diet for a long time, the body will increase the burden.

In fact, according to scientific research, if you eat high-salt food for a long time, it will do great harm to your health. First of all, excessive consumption of high-salt food will lead to the increase of vascular osmotic pressure, which will lead to gastric mucosal damage and other problems. High salt can also inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin in the body. Prostaglandin can effectively control various gastrointestinal diseases, so high salt can indirectly trigger the onset of various diseases, including serious diseases such as gastric cancer.

In life, in order to keep food with a long shelf life, people usually choose pickled food. Although this kind of food tastes delicious and can be preserved better, the nitrate rich in it will become harmful substances after being ingested into the human body, which will increase the incidence of cancer, so it is necessary to reduce the consumption of pickled food.
