I just wrote an article today, which is also an assignment of current affairs and politics. I basically wrote them myself. I hope you can be satisfied!

Views on the current development of China's high-speed railway

Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China's economy has made rapid progress, with an average annual growth rate of more than double digits. It has become the engine of the whole world economic development, and its achievements have attracted worldwide attention. Not long ago, China's economy has surpassed that of Japan and become the second largest economy in the world. At the same time, the living standards of the people in China have also undergone earth-shaking changes. The immediate concern of ordinary people has changed from focusing on solving food and clothing before to pursuing quality of life and improving happiness index today. Today, China has become more and more modern, and we share the fruits of modernization with other countries.

However, per capita, China's social and economic indicators still lag far behind the developed countries such as the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain and France. Therefore, the task we face is still very arduous, and we must continue to strive to develop the national economy. I am a student from Sichuan, and now I am studying and working in Shanghai, which is more than 2,000 kilometers away from home. Since my parents came to work in Shanghai, I have traveled between Chengdu and Shanghai every winter and summer vacation for ten years, and witnessed the development and progress of China Railway with my own personal experience. In recent years, China's railway construction can be said to have led the economic development of China, and its achievements are indeed changing with each passing day, and good news is frequently reported. Now, I want to talk about my views on railway construction in China.

For any country, the railway is an important infrastructure, artery and popular means of transportation. In the comprehensive transportation system, the railway is in the backbone position. According to the information I have found, at present, a large number of long-distance material transportation and medium-and long-distance passenger transportation in China are mainly undertaken by railways, and the annual passenger turnover accounts for about 1/3 of the total passenger turnover of the whole society, and the completed cargo turnover accounts for about half of the total cargo turnover of the whole society. It can be said that it is difficult to realize the modernization of the country without the modernization of railways. China has a vast territory, a vast inland area, a large population and unbalanced distribution of resources and industries. Railway transportation has more prominent advantages in various modes of transportation and plays a particularly important role in economic and social development.

In order to solve the transportation problem that has seriously restricted the development of national economy for a long time, since 2003, China Railway has started to develop by leaps and bounds. The state has invested a huge sum of money to build a high-speed railway in an all-round way. In just a few years since the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China High-speed Railway has repeatedly made miracles and achieved a major leap from "catching up" to "leading". China has become the country with the most complete technology, the strongest integration ability, the longest operating mileage, the highest operating speed and the largest scale under construction, and the overall level of high-speed rail development is in the leading position in the world. On February 26th, 2009, at 65438, Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, the world's longest high-speed railway with a speed of 350km/h, was put into operation. Since then, in 20 10, the Zhengxi, Shanghai-Nanjing and Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railways with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and the Fuxia, Changjiu, Changji, Zhuguang and Hainan East Ring high-speed railways with a speed of 250 kilometers per hour have been completed and opened to traffic. The Shanghai-Chengdu high-speed railway from Shanghai to my hometown of Chengdu, Sichuan Province was also put into operation on June 65438+1October1at the beginning of this year. In addition, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway with the longest mileage and the largest investment in China history has also been paved. Two days ago, the joint commissioning test was started between Zaozhuang, Shandong Province and Hongqiao, Shanghai, creating the world's highest operating railway test speed of 486. 1 km, which became the new coordinate for China high-speed railway to lead the world.

Of course, I am most concerned about the Shanghai-Chengdu high-speed railway (also known as the "Shanghai-Han Rong Passenger Dedicated Line"). Shanghai-Hanrong Passenger Dedicated Line is the longest "one horizontal" among the "four vertical and four horizontal" passenger dedicated lines in China. It starts from Shanghai and reaches Chengdu via Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, Chongqing and other cities, with a total length of 2,078 kilometers. Since the opening, I have been paying close attention to the construction progress of this railway, dreaming that I can take the high-speed train back to my hometown in the future, so that I don't have to endure more than 30 hours of displacement. In the month of 65438+ 10 this year, we finally waited for the news of the opening of the Shanghai-Chengdu high-speed railway. But when I saw the news, I was not as happy as I thought. On the contrary, I am disappointed: although the railway has been repaired, the trains running on it are too "high-end" for students like me to bear.

The running time of the EMU opened this time is 15.5 hours, and the train has only two kinds of seats: soft seat and sleeper. It is said that this line is the most advanced carriage in China at present. Each berth of the soft sleeper is equipped with an independent video system, and the senior soft sleeper is equipped with a small meeting room, as well as facilities such as sofas and wardrobes. With such a luxurious carriage, the fare is naturally expensive. The relatively cheap second-class soft seat is 50 1 yuan, and the whole train of 16 has only 122 seats, and the rest are much more expensive sleepers, with ordinary soft sleeper 1035 yuan, 165438 yuan, and advanced soft sleeper 2075 yuan, 20 yuan. This is comparable to the fare of a five-star hotel, and it is still discounted, about 30% off the original price. For flights from Shanghai to Chengdu and Chongqing, the full price of economy class is only about 1500 yuan, and the whole journey takes only two hours.

Personally, I think there is a serious mismatch between such demand and supply, at least it is somewhat inappropriate. In fact, because a large number of migrant workers from Sichuan and Chongqing work in the Yangtze River Delta region, it is still hard to get a train ticket from Shanghai to Chengdu and Chongqing on the basis of increasing temporary passengers during Spring Festival travel rush every year. As far as I live, there are many migrant workers who come to work in Shanghai from their hometown in Sichuan, and many of them can't go home every New Year. Obviously, after the opening of such trains, the number of ordinary trains between Shanghai and Chengdu will inevitably be greatly reduced, which will inevitably bring inconvenience to ordinary people, making them either unable to go home or have to choose expensive trains or planes. In addition, the attendance rate of such an expensive ticket is bound to be very low, and even empty seats will appear in the carriage, which will cause great waste. And if we can lower the "grade" of the train and spend the same amount of money, we can serve more ordinary people. In this way, the problem of "Spring Festival travel rush fever" that has troubled us for a long time can be greatly alleviated.

But on the whole, I have a positive attitude towards the development of high-speed rail in China. At present, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway will be opened soon, and the national "four vertical and four horizontal" passenger dedicated line network will be fully completed in more than one year. I really hope that the high-speed rail fares opened one after another will not be too high, so that more people can afford the high-speed rail!
