Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 These Regulations are formulated in order to give full play to the enthusiasm and creativity of teachers in institutions of higher learning to serve China's education, encourage teachers to improve their academic qualifications, academic level and ability to perform corresponding duties, strive to complete their own work and promote the rational flow of talents. Article 2 Teachers' posts in institutions of higher learning are posts set according to the tasks undertaken by the school, such as teaching and scientific research. Teachers include teaching assistants, lecturers, associate professors and professors. The appointment system or appointment system shall be implemented for posts at all levels, with clear responsibilities, qualifications and term of office. Article 3 The staffing of teachers in institutions of higher learning shall be determined according to the teacher-student ratio stipulated by the state. Teachers' posts should have a reasonable structure. The establishment of teachers at all levels in institutions of higher learning, majors and disciplines should be adapted to the tasks undertaken. Chapter II Duties Article 4 Duties of teaching assistants

(a) to undertake teaching work such as course counseling, answering questions, correcting homework, cram schools, experimental classes, internship classes, and organizing classroom discussions (teachers of foreign languages, physical education, drawing and other courses should also give lectures), and participate in or all lectures of some courses after approval, and assist in guiding graduation thesis and graduation design;

(two) to participate in the laboratory construction, to participate in the organization and guidance of production practice, social investigation and other aspects of the work;

(three) as the management of students' ideological and political work or teaching and scientific research;

(four) to participate in teaching research or scientific research, technology development, social services and other scientific and technological work. Article 5 Responsibilities of Lecturers

(a) teaching one or more courses systematically, organizing classroom discussions, guiding internships and social surveys, and guiding graduation thesis and graduation design;

(two) as the construction of the laboratory, organize and guide the experimental teaching work, and compile experimental teaching materials and experimental instructions;

(three) to participate in scientific research, technological development, social services and other scientific and technological work, to participate in the research of teaching methods, to participate in the compilation and review of teaching materials and teaching reference books;

(four) according to the needs of the work, to assist professors and associate professors to guide graduate students and teachers for further study;

(five) as the management of students' ideological and political work or teaching and scientific research;

(six) according to the needs of the work, as counseling, answering questions, correcting homework, tutoring, experimental classes, internship classes and guiding students to carry out scientific and technological work and other teaching work. Article 6 Responsibilities of Associate Professor

(a) as 1 main basic courses or two or more courses (including 1 should be basic courses, including professional basic courses or technical basic courses), organize classroom discussions, guide internships, social surveys, and guide graduation thesis and graduation design;

(two) to master the academic development trends within the scope of this discipline, to participate in academic activities and publish academic reports, to participate in scientific research, technological development, social services and other scientific and technological work, to be the person in charge of scientific research projects as needed, and to be responsible for or participate in the evaluation of academic papers;

(three) to preside over or participate in the compilation and review of new textbooks and teaching reference books, and to preside over or participate in the research of teaching methods;

(four) to guide the construction and design of the laboratory, to innovate experimental means or to enrich new experimental contents;

(five) according to the needs, to guide graduate students, to assist professors to guide doctoral students, and to guide teachers to further their studies;

(six) as the management of students' ideological and political work or teaching and scientific research;

(seven) according to the needs of the work, as counseling, answering questions, correcting homework, tutoring, experimental classes, internship classes and guiding students to carry out scientific and technological work and other teaching work. Article 7 The responsibilities of professors

In addition to the work within the scope of associate professor's duties, he has to undertake tasks that are more demanding than associate professor's duties. To lead the teaching and scientific research work of this discipline, and guide doctoral students according to the needs and after confirmation by review. Chapter III Qualifications Article 8 Teachers in institutions of higher learning should support the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s leadership, love the socialist motherland, study hard Marxism and the Party's line, principles and policies, have good professional ethics, abide by discipline and law, be a teacher by example, teach and educate people, fully and skillfully perform their duties, actively undertake tasks, and have a correct style of study.

Good health, can insist on normal work. Article 9 Teaching assistants shall meet the requirements of Article 8 of these Regulations and meet one of the following conditions:

(1) Obtaining a bachelor's degree; Or study and improve in work practice, and after examination or investigation, it is confirmed that it has reached the level of undergraduate education. After a probation period of 1 year or more, it shows that it can be competent and perform the duties of teaching assistant;

(2) Having obtained a master's degree, a graduate diploma or a second bachelor's degree certificate, and being proved to be competent and able to perform the duties of a teaching assistant after investigation. Article 10 The qualification of a lecturer shall meet the requirements of Article 8 of these Regulations and one of the following conditions:

(a) engaged in teaching assistant work for more than 4 years, and obtained the certificate of completion of senior teaching assistant courses in colleges and universities; Or confirm that you have mastered the main courses of graduate students, have the necessary knowledge and skills of this major and the ability to engage in scientific and technological work, and can read foreign language books of this major smoothly. After investigation, it shows that you can be competent and perform the duties of a lecturer;

(2) Having obtained a graduate diploma or a second bachelor's degree certificate, having worked as a teaching assistant for more than two years, having the necessary knowledge and skills in this major and the ability to engage in scientific and technological work, and having passed the inspection and performed the duties of a lecturer;

(3) Having obtained a master's degree and worked as a teaching assistant for about 2 years, or having obtained a doctor's degree, which shows that he can be competent and perform the duties of a lecturer.
