According to the survey data of China Warehouse Association, financial management and warehouse operation management are the two most important functional requirements of information system, accounting for 38% respectively.

Driven by the interest mechanism, enterprises are constantly pursuing to reduce costs and speed up capital turnover, applying system theory and optimization technology to logistics process design and transformation, and integrating them into the new management system. However, the idea of supply chain has widely influenced the construction and process design of various information systems. Recently, the main manifestation is information sharing between cooperative enterprises, such as automatic replenishment system replacing traditional procurement and supply, and information and forecast of sales enterprises guiding production and procurement plans of production enterprises. In the cases collected by China Logistics Purchasing and Federation, there is hardly any content about cooperative business between cooperative enterprises. However, this does not mean that the idea of supply chain is not applicable in China. On the contrary, if we consciously publicize and explore the theory and practice of supply chain, we can accelerate the development of modern logistics and supply chain management in China.
7. The demand for information technology, process design and optimization, and supply chain management is developing steadily from shallow to deep. Enterprises are increasingly pursuing the understanding and mastery of processes and management, and the requirements for solutions are increasingly beyond the services that IT vendors can provide at present. China's three demand levels are manifested in the three development stages of logistics information system. The latter stage often starts from the basis of the previous stage, that is, the process transformation and process optimization control should be based on informationization, and the formation and management of supply chain should be based on the process design and operation optimization of each enterprise. Because China now takes advantage of its latecomer and hopes to complete the history of many multinational companies for decades or even hundreds of years in a shorter transition time, it often takes three steps, one step at a time.
