Electronically controlled ignition system is a common ignition method in modern automobiles. Because of its complex structure, it is easy to break down in practical work. The failure of electronic ignition system seriously affects the normal work of automobile engine and brings a lot of inconvenience to drivers. Based on this, this paper first introduces the basic structure, working principle and characteristics of the electronic control ignition system, and analyzes the causes of the failure of the electronic control ignition system. On this basis, the fault diagnosis and elimination methods are expounded in detail. Finally, the matters needing attention in the maintenance of electronic control ignition system are put forward, and an example of fault diagnosis and analysis of an automobile electronic control ignition system is given.
