Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology (ISSN: 2405-805x) was founded on 20 16, covering all aspects of synthetic biology, systems biology and biomedicine. At present, it has been included by DOAJ, EMBASE, PubMed Central, Scopus and ESCI. This journal was selected as a new publishing project with a high starting point of China Sci-tech Journals Excellence Action Plan in 20 19.
Synthesis and Systems Biotechnology is edited by Professor Zhang Lixin from East China University of Science and Technology, with Professor Chen Guoqiang from Tsinghua University, Professor Hal Alper from the University of Texas at Austin and Professor Tilmann Weber from the Data Transmission Unit as deputy editors.
