The waste of school canteens is closely related to the living conditions of health students. The topics set by the students are generally wide, covering many things in society, but they feel a bit unrealistic. Our group members decided on a topic closer to our campus life, which made our activities more meaningful. When we were discussing how to decide the topic, we found that the waste in school canteens was serious and the sanitary condition was not ideal, so we decided that our topic was "About the waste and sanitary condition in school canteens".

The first stage; After communication and consultation with teachers, the topic and activity mode were established. I got a general idea about the sanitary condition of our school canteen and the waste of students.

The second stage; Team members work together, interview the canteen staff, investigate the canteen environment, and conduct a questionnaire survey on students, so as to have a deeper understanding of the research topic and better complete the research topic.

The third stage; Summarize the data, exchange opinions, analyze the collected data, and draw a general opinion. Sort out the data and complete the report.

(1) Specific implementation steps

The first stage: on-the-spot investigation of the school canteen, communication with teachers to establish a correct research route.

Through the analysis of a large number of data, find out the problems existing in the sanitary conditions of canteens and the phenomena and reasons of waste, and form the work on these two aspects.

(2) Data collection process: At the beginning of the topic, I found this process very difficult. Under the guidance of the teacher, we took the topic as the starting point, went deep into the school cafeteria to investigate, distributed questionnaires to students, and searched all kinds of relevant information on the Internet.
