Classification and writing
1 Communication can be generally divided into: person communication, event communication and work communication.
2 the theme should be clear. In other words, what do you want to broadcast to readers, and what is your intention?
3 the materials should be suitable. Once you have a theme, you should organize the material around it. Often in the process of interviewing reporters, the interviewee will often provide you with a lot of materials. Among all these materials, there are actually many materials that you don't need. Therefore, you should select the chicken feathers from one place one by one, choose them reasonably, and finally choose the materials you need.
4 the angle should be novel. With materials, you must choose a written perspective. After things happen, different people will have different views from different angles. This is the so-called "from the side of the mountain, the height is different." As we all know, no one wants to see the same old story. This requires the writer to choose a reasonable and novel angle to write. For example, in 2005, a returned overseas Chinese in Zhoujiawan neighborhood committee fell and was injured. Because the old returned overseas Chinese have financial difficulties, their wives and daughters are mentally ill and no one takes care of them. In this case, the Street Overseas Chinese Federation mobilized everyone to donate money and reported the matter to the District Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, which then reported it to the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. As a result, the superior also donated money. The street asked me to write a report at that time. The original intention is to write about how we collect firewood and how we donate money to help the old returned overseas Chinese tide over the difficulties. After I went there, I found another detail, that is, the families of the old returned overseas Chinese were sent to mental hospitals, and the home was in a mess. No one took care of the old returned overseas Chinese during their hospitalization. In this case, street cadres take turns to serve the families of old returned overseas Chinese. I think it is too common to write from the perspective of donations, so I chose the perspective of neighborhood Committee cadres, and when I wrote it again, I wrote all the donations. The result was published by Xinmin Evening News and won the third prize of Shanghai Social News that year.
The title should be unique. The newsletter has been written, so no one can read it. Because in this era, there is too much information, and no one has the time and patience to watch the news one by one, just picking and watching. Therefore, it is very important to attract people's attention if the news you write wants to stand out. So have a unique title, so that your words can be selected by the reader's eyes. Of course, a good title can sometimes make the finishing point of an article. I remember once, a painter made a contribution to Longhua community with a painting. This is a landscape painting, but it has no theme. As we all know, paintings without themes are difficult for ordinary residents to understand. After a careful look, I found an old couple helping each other on a path covered with fallen leaves. So, when I publish it, I want to add a theme to it. At first, I wanted to use "help" as the title. After using it, I felt that it was not poetic enough, so I changed it to "God pities grass, and human beings value friendship". As a result, the painter was very happy after reading it, saying that the theme of this painting was embodied in this way. Another time, on the eve of the World Expo, the Women's Federation held a photo contest, and a resident sent me a photo. In the photo, an electrician is installing street lamps in front of the China Pavilion. I had a brainwave and gave the photo a theme "I add luster to the World Expo", which was caused by quotation marks. In fact, it is homophonic, and the result has also played an unexpected role.
The production of news headlines
1 The title and text should be consistent. There are many people whose titles and articles don't correspond, that is, titles are titles and articles are articles, and they have nothing to do with each other. The key to this problem is that everyone wants to set the title better, but when setting the title, they are divorced from the theme of the article. For example, there used to be such a short message on the street, which was about street municipal management. The content of the article is to write how many illegal streets have been demolished, how much greening has been planted, and so on. As a result, his topic is "Inheriting Millennium Culture and Creating Charming Longhua". After reading the article, I didn't see any culture. But at first glance, I knew it was an appropriate title, because "strengthening cultural construction" is being mentioned from the central government to the local government. Obviously, this title is irrelevant.
2 be easy to read and understand. The title should not be too obscure, because the readers are ordinary people, not experts and scholars. It is too obscure to understand, which deviates from the requirement of news popularity. Some people like to show that they are literate and knowledgeable, deliberately procrastinate and use obscure words or obscure poems. Of course, it doesn't mean that prose can't be used as a title, but obscure poetry can't be used. I remember ten years ago, when I was a teacher, none of the fifteen teachers in our office (including the Chinese teacher) could understand the title of a news article in Shanghai Education News (I have forgotten the specific title, but I remember it clearly). Such a title is lifeless and undesirable. In fashionable terms, I call this phenomenon pretending.
Use something expressive as the title. The so-called expressive force means that as long as you look at the topic, you will have psychological reactions such as excitement, emotion, anger and disgust. For example, the title of Han Han's early article "Taking a Bath in a Cotton Coat" is very expressive and makes people curious. It is really incredible to take a bath in cotton-padded clothes, which attracts readers to read this article; There is also the previous title "For Class 61 Brothers", which is worrying; A few days ago, the title of "medical overtreatment: seven stents for a heart disease" in Jiefang Daily made people angry. Titles like this are all expressive titles.
4 Use poetry skillfully. Taking poetry as the topic can not only deepen the theme of the article, but also add literary grace to the article and make the article have literary appreciation value. It's called killing three birds with one stone, but it doesn't pass. If you pass, you pretend. For example, a few years ago, the output value of lotus seed industry in Honghu, Hubei Province exceeded 10 billion yuan. At that time, Hubei Daily made a long report with the title of quoting the poem "The output value of lotus seed industry in Honghu, Hubei exceeds 10 billion" (the original text is that the lotus leaves are infinitely blue the next day, and the lotus seeds are different red the next day); In 2002, the Yangtze River was polluted, and Chutian Metropolis Daily sent a newsletter entitled "The Yangtze River flows eastward, and the turbid waves make people worry" (the original text is: the Yangtze River flows eastward, and the waves wash away heroes); In 2004, I sent a newsletter in Xinmin Evening News, which talked about the work of Secretary Zhang Jiayuan for the people. The title used was "A branch and a leaf sum up to compare feelings" (the original text was Zheng Banqiao's "Yazhai lies listening to the rustling bamboo, which is suspected to be the voice of the people's sufferings, and some small officials in Cao Zhou sum up to compare feelings").
Skillfully use several juxtaposed words as the title. The so-called coordinate words here are actually related to some extent. For example, a primary school teacher in a poor area, seeing the local lack of medicine and medicine, couldn't bear it, and taught himself medicine. After finishing his studies, he taught while practicing medicine. When teaching, he is very strict with his students and very kind. Of course, strictness is about his study, while charity is about his life. Later, the local media reported the teacher. The title of the report is "a famous doctor who is strict with his teacher and loving his father". Let's take a look at this title. Three unrelated words become related because of one person. These three words are actually the triple identity of the teacher. These three words describe the characters from three different aspects. In 2008, a paper I wrote won an excellent paper from the Propaganda Department of Shanghai Municipal Committee. The main content of this paper is to write about my study and use of the book Shanghai Publicity and Communication. The title I used is "Meeting, Benefiting and Recommending", which is how I finally met Shanghai Propaganda and Communication in the vast sea of books, how I benefited from this book, and how I finally recommended this book to people around me. Another example is Zhang Ailing's novel Lust, Caution and so on.
6 use questions as the title. The advantage of this title is to ask questions directly and let readers follow the author's ideas to find answers. This title works well when writing negative news or facing a social problem. For example, who is the cutest person written by Wei Wei, this title directly guides readers to find the answer; A few years ago, in response to the question of whether the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone should be abolished, Shenzhen Evening News used the title "Can the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone survive?" It can be seen that these two articles are written for common social problems. Using interrogative sentences to make questions is actually asking questions and answering them yourself. In view of some negative news in society, this title can alert people and attract their attention. For example, two days ago (February 20th), Jiefang Daily published a news article entitled "Is excimer laser therapy safe for myopia? See what the experts say. "A see will know that certainly not safe. Should we discuss security issues? So such a title can attract people's attention at once.
Cleverly use vague words that are easy to cause reverie as titles. This kind of title, I call it a gimmick title, and this form of setting the title is the most popular at present. It mainly takes advantage of people's unhealthy psychology, and people can't help peeping. For example, the title "My mother-in-law wants to sleep in a bed with me" looks scary, but after reading the whole article, you will find that this article is actually a very warm article. The main story is that my wife is on a business trip and my mother-in-law comes home to take care of her sick self. When she sleeps at night, she must sleep on the sofa. My mother-in-law was afraid that he would get sick if he caught a cold, so she added another quilt to the bed to let him.
Clever use of homophones as titles. For example, there have been endless reports about the excessive heavy metals in Supor kitchenware recently. Supor kitchenware is one of them: experts explode "manganese" In this title, the author skillfully uses the homonym of "Meng" and "Mn"; For example, a few days ago, an Italian documentary won the Golden Bear Award in Berlin. The news headline of the day was "Italian documentary, Berlin catches the golden bear". A discerning person knows at a glance that this "golden bear" and that "golden bear" are not the same thing.
9 directly use the words of the owner in the text as the title. This is a master key, its advantage is that it will not be irrelevant to the topic, but also can explain the theme of the article well. A few days ago (February 17), Jiefang Daily published a long newsletter, reporting the touching story of Gao Chunfang, president of PLA 105 Hospital. The headline of the newsletter is a sentence from Gao Chunfang, "Without a bodhisattva's heart, you are not worthy to be a doctor." Such a title is very suitable for the content of the article and can also depict the ideological realm of the master, which is very good.
Choice of news angle
1 Follow the perspective of the times. It is an eternal truth that the article is written at the right time and the poem is written at the right time. Keep up with the pace of the times, that is to say, what is the hottest point of writing at the moment?
2 Choose an angle from a small angle. That is to say, in the face of an event, the screenwriter generally does not summarize the course of the event, but selects a specific shot of the event and slowly unfolds it through the specific shot, just like a wide-angle shot, gradually unfolding it to achieve a clear effect. For example, meeting briefs are difficult to write. Most people write like this: what meeting was held in a certain place on a certain day in a certain year, what was passed (conveyed) at the meeting, and what good results were achieved in the end. There is also a newsletter of a model worker commendation meeting somewhere, which is very distinctive. Starting from the report made by the director of the Labor Bureau, I grasped the details of the director's bow to the model worker, and wrote the respect and love of the society for the model worker from a small perspective. I remember the headline of the news at that time was "Bowing to the model worker".
3 From the perspective of particularity selection. Now dog biting is not news, but man biting dog is news; Your donation 1000 is not news, but beggar donation 10 is news; It is not news that Faye Wong sings well, but news that Faye Wong sings out of tune; It is not news that Faye Wong and Li gave birth to a healthy daughter, but it is news that they gave birth to a harelip daughter. Therefore, in the face of what happened, we should find out the particularity from * * *. For example, today, you said that I came to talk to you about how to write news, which certainly won't be news. If you say that a migrant worker goes to the street to give news writing lessons to government cadres, it is definitely news. On February 17, Global Times published an Indian news with a novel angle. It is about a slum in India, which is not only poor, but also dirty and messy, and even has no toilet. Men and women solved it on the spot. The government has never seriously solved it. Once, a foreign women married a man. On their wedding night, she found that there was no toilet in the area, so she was not used to it. She fled home the next day. This incident caused quite a stir in the local area, and the local government was forced to build the first local toilet. According to our habitual thinking, this news must be about how the government strives for funds for the people to build the first toilet. But think about it, what's more, there are still many places in China without toilets. Can building toilets become news? As a result, the reporter changed the lens and wrote a story titled "Indian bride ran to the toilet as a model", which spread all over the world.
Choose an angle from the forgotten corner. First, everyone will write anything that is sexual. As a reporter, you should be good at writing news from a corner that everyone has forgotten.
Several details that should be paid attention to in writing
1 Don't talk too much. Some people pick up a pen, that is, "under the guidance of xx, under the command of xx and under the correct leadership of xx", and put a lot of farts, all of which are empty farts and have no effect. News should be short and pithy, dry and not wet.
Don't express personal feelings. When some people write about helping send warm, they are grateful for this and that, otherwise there would be no me today. This writing is too melodramatic. You can tell it's fake at first glance. Just one sentence gave me a chance to start over. Otherwise, it is a good book of repentance.
Don't jump to conclusions In interpersonal communication, at the end, some people always forget to write "He is really a great man, a noble man, a pioneer of our time and an example for us to learn." Actually, this is not right. News only shows people a certain aspect of the owner, even a certain point, and the conclusion should be left to readers.
Many aspects of an event should be written in chronological structure. In other words, an event involves many aspects. When writing, write the important aspects first, and then write the secondary aspects. The more secondary they are, the more we should leave them behind. In this case, it is convenient for newspaper editors to edit. Due to the limited space in the newspaper, it is impossible to put everything you write on it. In addition, in the face of numerous manuscripts, it is impossible for an editor to look at your own manuscripts carefully to help you pick out the important ones and eliminate the unimportant ones. Generally, editors delete manuscripts from the back to the front, so that the second deletion will not affect the quality of manuscripts.
Read the manuscript several times and try not to have typos. This is responsible for yourself and respect for the editor.
