When he was a child, Yang liked to doodle, and often used wooden sticks to draw some portraits and natural scenery on the ground. In 2008, the global financial crisis spread to many countries, and Yang's oil paintings were mainly sold to Europe and America, so the sales volume dropped sharply. I can't sell a few paintings in a month, and the couple are looking forward to a better day. That year, Yang also hesitated to consider whether to do business with other friends or work for others, but his wife always advised him, "Don't change careers, don't leave your favorite oil paintings behind."

With his persistence in his dream, Yang worked hard in the oil painting industry and survived the downturn in oil painting sales under the financial crisis. In 2009, lichuan county started the "100 million yuan oil painting city project", set up an oil painting industry office, and built an oil painting city in Guoan Street to attract foreign Lichuan painters to return home to start businesses with preferential policies. Today, more than 60 apprentices of Yang Dai have started businesses in Guangdong, Fujian, Shanghai and Beijing, and more than 3,000 people in Lichuan are engaged in the oil painting industry. Last year, Yang registered and established Lichuan Shilong Oil Painting Co., Ltd. to help oil painters sell their works.
