Source: Jiao Zheng Zi [20 13] No.257, released on 2014-1-12.
In order to speed up the construction of high-level universities in our university, improve academic level, improve academic status, realize scientific and standardized academic management, and promote the output of high-quality academic papers, on the basis of extensive investigation and soliciting the opinions of relevant departments and units in our university, according to the principles of quality orientation, discipline orientation, total balance and structural optimization, drawing on the classification standards of academic papers of international and domestic academic research institutions and combining with the actual situation of our university, this classification method for academic papers is formulated.
I. Classification of documents
According to this classification method, the academic papers in our school are divided into four categories: A, B, C and D.
Class a test paper
1. Periodical papers included in Scientific Citation Index (SCIE) of Journal Citation Report (JCR) published annually by institute for scientific information (ISI).
According to the classification of SCIE journals by recognized authorities in China, the papers published in the first to fourth regional journals are A 1, A2, A3 and A4 respectively. Among them, the papers published in Science and Nature and the highly cited papers in ISI Basic Scientific Indicators Database (ESI) are A0 papers.
2.ISI Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) include papers published in journals. The grading principle of the paper is the same as above.
3. Papers (see Annex 1 and Annex 2) published in A-class journals recognized by various disciplines such as China Science (Series A-G, bilingual), Xinhua Digest (reproduced in full), People's Daily and Guangming Daily (academic papers in theoretical edition) are A5-level papers.
Class b test paper
1. Journal papers (retrieval JA) included in the core part of the "Engineering Index" (EI) database published by the American Engineering Information Center.

3. The Citation Index of Chinese Social Sciences (CSSCI) issued by China Social Sciences Research and Evaluation Center of Nanjing University.
The papers published by EI, CSCD core database and CSSCI core database are B 1 papers, and the papers published by CSCD and CSSCI extended journals are B2 papers.

II. Relevant annexes and explanations
(a) the sources of periodicals included in the relevant retrieval system stipulated in the above clauses shall be based on the data published by China Institute of Science and Technology Information, National Science Library of China Academy of Sciences and other units in that year.
(Journals published by JCR and included in SCIE may have multiple disciplines due to interdisciplinary factors, and the highest score shall prevail.
(3) Highly cited papers refer to papers whose cited frequency ranks within the top 65,438+0% of the corresponding disciplines according to ESI statistics.
(4) Newly-added Class A journals recognized by disciplines shall be confirmed by academic committees of colleges and universities.
(five) the papers included in each retrieval system must be published in full.
(six) the principles of co-selection of other A-class journals (A5-level papers) recognized by various disciplines are as follows:
1, natural science journals are generally EI, CSCD, core (or SCD) journals;
2. Humanities and social sciences journals are generally CSSCI or SCD journals;
3. According to the category of the first-level discipline, the added journals are journals that reflect the highest level of this discipline except SCI journals, which are generally the top 5% of Chinese journals in this discipline. If there are 6 or more two disciplines in this first-level discipline, you can choose 2 journals according to the actual setting of two disciplines in our school; 2 disciplines with 9 or more periodicals can choose 3 periodicals, and so on.
When the above conditions are met, the principles of priority selection and increase are as follows:
1, sponsored by the national society or the journal of the society, giving priority to the increase;
2, three or more interdisciplinary journals, preferred;
3. Important journals sponsored or recognized by NSFC are preferred.
The impact factors of Chinese periodicals should be based on the data published by China Institute of Science and Technology Information.
(seven) these measures are for the school to formulate academic evaluation, assessment and reward management measures for reference.
These Measures shall come into force as of the date of promulgation, and the right of interpretation belongs to the Research Center for the Development of Higher Education.
