The experimental facilities and supplies are fully equipped, which can meet the needs of experimental and practical teaching of various majors. The instructors of experimental and practical courses are teachers who have been engaged in teaching for many years and have rich practical teaching experience. In 2004, the accounting laboratory passed the qualification evaluation of colleges and universities in the autonomous region. Now it has been designated as the "Training Base for Advanced Skilled Talents in Inner Mongolia Catering Industry" by Inner Mongolia Catering and Hotel Industry Association. In the process of running a school, the Department of Tourism strives to make the professional development orientation consistent with the needs of regional economic development. There are five majors in tourism management, hotel management, tour guide service, cooking technology, exhibition planning and management.
There are 26 faculty members, including 25 full-time teachers, 4 associate professors, 2 teachers with intermediate titles and 2 senior technicians. There are 30 full-time teachers in the Art Department, including associate senior title 14%, intermediate title 63.3% and master students 40%. Set up advertising, interior, clothing and photography in four major directions, and offer more than 10 different majors. The main courses include: basic art courses, computer design (series courses), advertising design, packaging design, CI design, interior design, furniture design, fashion design and so on. There are 960 full-time vocational students. In 2006, the comprehensive employment rate of art graduates reached more than 85%, among which the employment rate of "clothing" graduates reached 100%.

The computer department aims to cultivate high-quality applied talents, and cultivate specialized talents who meet the needs of market economy development, have good scientific literacy and humanistic literacy, can systematically master the basic theories and skills of computer software, hardware and applications necessary for this major, have certain operational innovation ability, and can track the development of new technologies in time. The Department of Computer Science has six majors: computer application technology, computer information management, computer network technology, computer multimedia technology, animation design and production, and mobile communication technology, and has jointly established the undergraduate major of computer science and technology with Inner Mongolia Normal University and Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. In addition, there are six secondary specialized schools corresponding to their majors. Among them, animation design and production, mobile communication technology are characteristic majors in our region, computer application technology is a college-level brand major, and computer network technology is a college-level reform pilot major.
There are nearly 1200 full-time college students. There are nearly 3,200 secondary school students running jointly by schools and enterprises. Graduates can engage in scientific research, software development, animation production, game development, cultural industry, equipment installation and maintenance, system maintenance and management, teaching and other work in computer and related fields, and are suitable for working in companies, enterprises, institutions and administrative units, or engaging in the teaching of information technology courses in primary and secondary schools.
Since 2005, 16 junior college students have been promoted to undergraduate colleges, and 1 of them have been admitted as graduate students in computer application major of Inner Mongolia University of Technology. Students have won more than 60 awards at all levels.
The Department of Computer Science has a strong faculty, with a team of excellent teachers with reasonable structure, active academic thinking and good comprehensive quality. At present, there are 38 faculty members, including 3 full-time teachers, 0 masters, 8 associate professors and above, and 23 teachers with dual-qualification qualifications.
