Since the invention of telephone, voice communication has been an important and indispensable service in modern communication systems. With the increasing number of communication network users, the integration and diversification of network services, the contradiction between network broadband and system capacity and service quality is becoming increasingly prominent, and the traditional speech compression coding can no longer meet the requirements of continuous communication. Therefore, how to improve the quality and capacity of telephone communication system through vector quantization technology and speech coding technology is an important problem before us.
