In this semester's meditation class, the introduction part at the beginning is "Cherish college life and open up new horizons". I remember when I first entered the university, I still looked at everything here with the mentality of a middle school student, and I always felt that the difference was too great. Obviously, compared with high school life, college life has changed obviously. First of all, it is the change of learning requirements. In the university stage, the breadth and depth of knowledge are greatly increased, and the professional direction is basically determined, so it is necessary to give full play to the initiative and creativity of learning. There are abundant books, materials and all kinds of information in universities, and the channels for acquiring knowledge are more diversified. We should learn to skillfully use libraries and the Internet to collect materials and master information. Secondly, it is the change of living environment. Although I live in high school and can always go home once a month, I can only go home in winter and summer vacations now, so everything requires me to be more independent. Moreover, students come from all over the country, and their hobbies and living habits will be different, so they must have strong communication skills. Finally, there are changes in social activities. After entering the university, all kinds of organizational activities have greatly increased. We should learn to arrange our after-school life reasonably and exercise our organizational and communication skills. Through these, I know how to adapt to the new stage of college life. Besides adapting to college life, we should shoulder our own historical mission and cultivate ourselves into socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty. This is the inevitable requirement of historical development and the ardent hope of the party and the people. At the same time, we should also study and practice the socialist core value system, namely, the guiding ideology of Marxism, the national spirit with patriotism as the core, the spirit of the times with reform and opening up as the core, and the socialist concept of honor and disgrace. So I am determined to join the China * * * production party and do my part for the motherland.
In high school, my ideal was to go to college, so I have been working hard. Now I'm on the university campus, no longer motivated, and I find myself more and more confused. Now I know, because I have no ideal, so I have no motivation. Ideal is the core of human spiritual world. Whether there are ideals and what kind of ideals and beliefs determine whether a person is noble and full or vulgar and empty. Ideals and beliefs can guide life goals, provide life motivation and improve the spiritual realm of life. So my confusion is due to the lack of ideals and beliefs, so it is imperative to establish my own ideals and beliefs. Since we are determined to join China's * * * production party, we must establish Marxist scientific belief and Socialism with Chinese characteristics's * * * ideal. Of course, if you want to be ambitious, you must start with one step, so you should start with small things. The realization of ideal is a difficult process, and there is a gap between ideal and reality, so we should stick to the road of courage and struggle.
At the end of this semester, the teacher let us watch the movie Zhang Side, and I was deeply moved by Zhang Side's deeds. I learned from him what is patriotism, love for my own flesh and blood compatriots, love for the splendid culture of the motherland, and love for my motherland. In him, I know what it means that everyone is responsible for the rise and fall of the world, a responsibility to the country and my compatriots, and I see a kind of great love, tolerance and persistence. He has his own principles and will never do anything that is not good for the country or others. But unfortunately, he died. He died for the interests of the people, for his own ideals, and for a fair death. I passed a month's party school training this semester, and now the party school has graduated. The graduation of the party school is only a starting point. I want to make myself a real * * * party member through hard work, and use my life to fight for the cause of the party and realize the proletarian ideal. A * * * party member should adhere to the Marxist world outlook, the outlook on life and the values of collectivism, and combine it with practice. The present society is full of corruption and darkness, and the future of society belongs to our younger generation. We have the responsibility and obligation to change it and make it better. In order to save this society and realize the ideal of * * *, the first thing to do is to improve self-cultivation, cultivate patriotic enthusiasm and establish firm beliefs.
There is also a reading exchange meeting this semester. I read Mr. Wang Xiaoming's biography of Lu Xun. From Mr. Lu Xun's life, I learned how to look at life and how to face it. Experienced ups and downs, experienced a cold world. Although Mr. Lu Xun's personality before his death was not so mild and a little extreme, it was this extreme. He also worked hard for the rise and fall of the nation, fighting the enemy with his pen and hitting the enemy with his words. Although his life is short, his spiritual wealth left to future generations is endless. To be a man, we should care about the country and the people like a gentleman, and strive for the public and the country all our lives like a gentleman ... Therefore, we should pursue the lofty purpose of life, correct our attitude towards life and realize the value of life. The value of life lies not in one's own rights and interests, but in how much he has contributed to society and how much spiritual wealth he has left for future generations. At the exchange meeting, I also learned that many great men, such as Beethoven, Leonardo da Vinci and Zhou Enlai, are famous for their country. They have all made achievements in spirit and belief, and they all used their lives to pursue their ideals and realize their values.
These are what I heard, saw, thought and thought this semester, far exceeding books and forms. Reality, life, dreams and beliefs are all exposed and sublimated here. What I need to do is think and follow.
