Jin Nanxi, the author of the paper and a professor in the Department of Medicine of Korea University, said that excluding other living habits, people who stay up late have a higher risk of diabetes and muscle decline, which is related to their sedentary, smoking, eating midnight snacks and poor sleep quality.
