Word 2003 and later
Methods/steps
The first method is a general method, which can be used in both Word 2003 and 20 10. First enter the letter X in Word, and then position the cursor before X..
Click Insert-Symbol-Other Symbols in the Word menu bar.
In the new dialog box that pops up, click the drop-down arrow of font below the symbol and select the font symbol.
Under this font, there is an underline symbol, which is in front of the Greek letter Afa A. Click Insert.
This method combines lowercase letters well, but for uppercase letters, because the horizontal line is too short, the display ratio is a bit unbalanced and not very beautiful.
The second method is suitable for Word 20 10. Click Insert-Formula-Insert New Formula in the menu bar.
Click the reciprocal symbol in the menu bar of the pop-up formula tool, and select the second in the third row from the drop-down menu.
Finally, enter x in the dotted box at the bottom of the column, in both uppercase and lowercase letters.
Click the drop-down arrow on the right, and then click Save As New Formula to save the symbolic formula for the next time.
In the new dialog box that pops up, click OK directly.
1 1
The next time you need to insert this symbol, click Insert-Formula, and you can see this symbol directly.
12
To delete this symbolic formula, just right-click and select Organize and Delete.
The above is the introduction of the average input symbol X plus a horizontal (X-pull) in Word. I hope it will help everyone!
