I. Basic requirements for dissertations 1. The dissertation should be completed independently under the guidance of the tutor, and the topic belongs to the discipline and specialty applying for the degree. 2. The writing of papers should strictly abide by academic norms. If you quote other people's arguments or data, be sure to indicate the source. When quoting the opinions or research results of collaborators, you should add notes, otherwise it will be regarded as plagiarism. Anyone who quotes other people's written materials for more than 250 words without indicating the source can be regarded as plagiarism. 3. The master's thesis ① requires the thesis to have a new view on the research topic, which is innovative to some extent. Its arguments, experimental methods, achievements or suggestions have certain theoretical significance and practical value for social development or academics. (2) Thesis writing time should generally account for half of the total study time of graduate students. (3) The length of the paper is generally 20,000 to 30,000 words. 4. Doctoral thesis ① The thesis must be a systematic and complete academic thesis (or a group of papers). The basic viewpoints, conclusions or suggestions of the paper should be creative and have great theoretical significance and practical value in academic and national economic construction. (2) Thesis writing time should account for at least two-thirds of the whole doctoral study period. ③ Doctoral dissertations of science and engineering are generally not less than 30,000 words, and doctoral dissertations of liberal arts are generally not less than 80,000 words. 5. The paper should adopt simplified characters and legal units of measurement officially promulgated and implemented by the state. The full text of terms, symbols and codes used in dissertations must be unified and meet the requirements of standardization. The new technical terms, abbreviations and idioms used in the paper should be annotated. New foreign technical terms and abbreviations must be indicated in brackets after translation. Two. Formal Structure and Content of Dissertation (I) Formal Structure of Dissertation (II) Content of Dissertation (1) Preface ① Cover: The cover is uniformly printed by the Academic Degree Office, including classification number, school code, classification, student number, thesis title, etc.1. Among them, the "paper classification number" is filled in according to the classification number of China Library Classification; Please choose one of "None, Secret, Confidential and Top Secret" according to the situation; The title of the thesis should be able to summarize the most important content of the whole thesis, concise and appropriate, generally no more than 25 words (the thesis for foreign language majors must have Chinese topics). The thesis defense qualification certificate shall be filled out by the members of the defense Committee and the instructor. (2) Abstract in Chinese and English: Abstract is a brief statement of the content of the dissertation. It enables readers to obtain the necessary information without reading the full text of the paper. The content should include the research purpose, research methods, research results and final conclusions, and pay attention to highlighting the innovative achievements and new viewpoints of the paper. The Chinese abstract of master thesis is about 1000 words. The Chinese abstract of doctoral thesis is about 1200 words. Foreign abstracts should be translated into Chinese abstracts. There should be 3 ~ 5 keywords after the abstract to show the theme of the full text. ③ Content: The content should clearly show the hierarchical relationship of each chapter. Table of contents page typesetting only ranks to the second-level titles, namely chapters and sections. The text and chart on the table of contents page should be aligned on both sides. (2) The main part ① Introduction: The introduction mainly introduces the research status at home and abroad in this research field, puts forward the problems to be solved in this paper and the practical value and theoretical significance of this research work in economic construction, scientific and technological progress and social development. ② Text: The text is the core part of the paper, which presents the analysis and demonstration process of the research work. The general requirements of the text are: seeking truth from facts, sufficient arguments, clear logic, distinct levels, fluent writing and true and reliable data. Conclusion: The conclusion should be clear, concise, complete and accurate, and explain the significance of creative achievements or new opinions in this field (my research achievements should be strictly distinguished from those of my tutor or others). (4) References: The arrangement of references is listed at the end of the paper according to the order of references cited in the paper. (3) Posted Appendix: Appendix is generally used as a supplementary item to the main body of the paper. Mainly includes: the formula in the text is too long; It is convenient for readers to read the necessary auxiliary mathematical tools and repetitive data charts; Information of reference value in this major; Symbolic meaning, unit abbreviation, full text of the program and related explanations used in this paper. (2) Postscript (including thanks): Postscript is mainly used to record the content that the author needs to supplement in non-academic argumentation during the writing process of the paper. Including expressing gratitude to the units and individuals who have provided all kinds of funding, guidance and help to complete the research work of the thesis. (3) Catalogue of academic papers published by the author during his degree study: It should be listed in chronological order. Including author's name, paper signature ranking, journal name, volume number, page number and publication year. (4) Original statement on the use of the dissertation and authorization statement: placed on the front page of the back cover of the dissertation, which should be carefully read and signed by the author and tutor. (III) Format and Binding Requirements for Dissertation (1) Format ① The title of the cover should be standard Song Zi No.2 and bold. Except the title, all contents of the cover of the dissertation are standard Song Zi No.4. (2) The text should be printed with standard Song Zi Xiao No.4 Chinese characters, with 28 lines ×30 Chinese characters per page (including punctuation), and the page number should be printed at the middle position at the bottom of the page. The title of each chapter is printed in bold with standard Song Ti No.3 Chinese characters. ③ References: When the references are periodicals, the writing format is: [number], author, article title, periodical name (foreign abbreviation), year, number of volumes, number of issues and page number. When the reference is a book, the writing format is: [number], author, title, publishing unit, year, edition and page number. (4) Numbers, notes, references and formulas in the paper shall be numbered consecutively (or by chapter) with Arabic numerals. The order and name of the drawings are placed at the bottom of the drawings; Table order and table name are placed above the table; The number of the formula in the test paper is enclosed in brackets and written at the end of the right line with no dotted line in the middle. (2) Binding requires that the manuscript be printed on A4 paper (2 10mm× 197mm) with standard size. After binding, the paper size is standard A4 paper size, all of which are bound on the left. It is required to be neatly bound, neatly cut and easy to use and store. (IV) Number of photo albums required for dissertations Each department will receive the cover of dissertations with graduate department Academic Degree Office as the unit when receiving the notice of awarding graduate degrees in that year. Each full-time graduate student will receive 25 copies, and those who apply for a master's degree with the same academic level will receive 17 copies. In view of the fact that when graduate students submit papers for review and defense, reviewers and members of the defense Committee may put forward some questions and suggestions, and the papers need to be further revised. Therefore, graduate students need to bind 6 ~ 10 papers for submission and defense before the defense, and the rest should be printed after the defense is revised.
