1. Choosing a periodical is divided into two steps-

The first step is to understand your own requirements for journals, especially for publishing papers for reasons such as evaluating professional titles, evaluating scholarships, and ensuring scientific research. First of all, you should look at the specific requirements of schools and units for periodicals, such as periodical grades, general periodicals, periodicals or core periodicals. Is it necessary to be a periodical included in HowNet? When is the latest time to submit the review materials?

Step 2: The selected journals must be regular academic journals, that is, they must be searchable in the State Press and Publication Administration, and be updated stably and normally in the three databases (at least one) of HowNet, Wanfang and VIP to receive academic papers. Otherwise, you can find a periodical in the General Administration, and the database is also stably updated. As a result, people don't accept academic papers at all (such as China Economic Review), and you still foolishly contribute.

The general administration can check and the database can be updated stably, which can only ensure the existence of periodicals. (No copying and pasting by hand) But there is no guarantee that what you send must be the official publication itself. After all, there are many pirated publications, so you must call the magazine to check the manuscript after receiving the employment, make sure that the article has been hired by the official publication, and then make payment arrangements.

Send electronic periodicals, newspapers and supplements carefully, because the recognition is not high, unless the unit or school expressly stipulates, don't send them; Don't send fake journals, cover journals, especially journals online. The first few articles are only informal, but at least they are true. Fake journals and cover journals are directly fake! ! ! Can fake things be useful?

The third step is to find out the requirements for periodicals and choose the appropriate periodicals according to the requirements.

Here we need to talk about two ways of capital contribution: self-investment and looking for an intermediary to send it.

First of all, we must find the official submission method. We can go to various databases to download the copyright pages of periodicals, and there will be submission mailboxes on them.

However, if you are pressed for time, eager to publish, or really have no energy to collect and screen periodical information, then you can also find an intermediary to distribute it on your behalf (only for general periodicals, and the cost performance of core distribution is too low). You don't need to spend time looking for periodicals yourself, just tell the theme of the paper and the requirements for periodicals, and you can recommend the most suitable periodicals.
