1. First open the Word document, taking WPS as an example, as shown in the figure.
2. On the top menu, click "Chapter" and "Table of Contents", as shown.
3. Then we choose a directory style and click it, as shown in the figure.
4. Then you can see that the directory of this style has been inserted into the page, and the points of the directory are automatically generated, as shown in the figure.
5. If we want to manually enter the point symbol at this time, we can double-click the left mouse button to select a point in the directory, and then press the keyboard backspace key to delete the point, as shown in the figure.
6. When you enter manually, press the "."key, and you can type these points manually.
