How to cross-reference papers and documents?
The practice is as follows:

1. First, the serial number of the reference must be numbered. The purpose of this is to automatically generate numbers when line breaks, and identify them as numbered paragraphs when cross-referencing.

2. If you want to insert it between documents, wrap a line at the end of the document to generate a new serial number.

3. Paste and insert the document, and then modify it to the format you need.

4. Next, insert the document in the body part, select Insert, Cross-reference and numbering items. Paragraph numbering has no context, drop down the numbering to find [37], click Insert, and then close the cross-reference interface.

5. At this time, [37] has a hyperlink to the reference [37]. Hold down the ctrl key and click [37] to jump to the reference [37]. Chinese documents are generally superscript. Select [37] and click the initial superscript to modify it.

6. When [37] is inserted, all references after [37] in the text need to be updated. If it takes time to modify one by one manually, then the benefits of comparison will be reflected. We just need to select all the words after [37], press F9 to refresh, and it can be updated automatically.

7. If you want to insert a new reference, or add it according to the previous steps, it should be noted that it is best to paste only the document in text format or only the document content without serial number. Avoid numbering confusion.

8. Finally, according to the previous steps, insert _ > cross reference in the text, insert a new document superscript, select all the contents or superscript in the following text, and press F9 to refresh.
