The fifth edition of APA Publishing Manual clearly stipulates page-by-page titles, that is, the titles of all title pages of the paper must be clearly given in the form of "serial number: title" to facilitate subsequent editing and typesetting.
Page-by-page title is a condensed version of the title of the paper, with a length of no more than 50 letters (including spaces), all of which are presented in capital letters. Note that the "running head:" that appears before the page-by-page title is not counted in the number of words.
It is not a good method to directly intercept the first 50 letters of the thesis title. Page-by-page titles should accurately present the research topic of the paper.
If the topic of the paper is: review and meta-analysis of articles about monkey psychology in the first ten years, the form of direct interception is not feasible: review and meta-analysis of monkey psychology in the first ten years should be: review of monkey psychology.
Turn on the automatic header setting function in Microsoft Word, and set the page-by-page title at the upper left of the header area. The distance between the page-by-page title and the top or boundary of the page can be directly set by Word by default without additional adjustment.
Set page-by-page titles (including page numbers) in the header area, and align the titles to the left and page numbers to the right. The four margins of the original should be set to 1 inch. Page-by-page titles should be capitalized and should not exceed 50 letters (including spaces).
