How to cultivate the interest of art students in rural junior middle schools and improve their innovation ability
Art class in junior high school is a compulsory course in the nine-year compulsory education stage and an important way to carry out aesthetic education for students. It plays a very important role in cultivating sentiment, enlightening wisdom and promoting students' all-round development. Art education can not only cultivate students' aesthetic taste, but also play a very important role in the cultivation and development of students' observation, imagination and creativity. In recent years, China has also attached great importance to art education, and many schools have also made many teaching achievements. But there are still many problems. Through interviews, questionnaires, online talks and other forms, the author made a detailed investigation on rural students' hobbies, knowledge and understanding of art, family cognitive attitude, school curriculum and teachers' teaching methods. The summary is as follows: 98% students like painting during kindergarten; 60% in the first to sixth grades of primary school; In junior high school, the division is serious, and only 55% people are interested in art; After several years of compulsory education, how can our students' interest in art decline so quickly? After investigation and analysis, the author believes that there are the following factors. First, family education factors, family misleading: Before children enter school, most parents encourage and praise their children because they can draw. After they enter school, they measure their children by their academic performance, making them mistakenly think that academic performance is the main thing and hobbies are secondary, so that their original nature is slowly killed. Family constitutes a society, so it forms such a social environment: painting is fun and academic performance is important. Ignoring the relationship between children's physical and mental development and cognitive things only requires children to get good grades in cultural subjects, ignores the cultivation of children's various abilities and interests, forces children to learn cultural knowledge that they are not interested in, and stifles their rich imagination and creativity. Second, school education factors: Many rural schools have no professional art teachers. Without teachers, they can only teach in duplicate, and some can only watch classes. Schools pay more attention to students' grades and enrollment rates. Many schools do not offer art classes, or actually use them for other courses in the curriculum. Although there are great changes now, the educational concepts of many schools have not changed. Many teachers have the same teaching methods. In art class, because of the lack of information, they only teach students to copy works and draw a gourd according to the script, which leads to a low, inactive and boring classroom atmosphere and makes students lose interest. All these restrict students' thinking development and interest cultivation. 1. To understand students' psychology and cultivate their interest, we must know more about students and respect their thinking and performance characteristics. Because students' physical and mental development is closely related to their cognition of things, art education is the natural product of students' physical development level, perceptual ability, emotional attitude and life experience, and art is a manifestation of students' understanding of the world. When you need to know and express things, you have the impulse to draw and describe them, and you will be encouraged to see infectious works. Teachers should guide students well in class and stimulate their enthusiasm. For example, in the unique art class of "Basic Proportion of Human Body" in the second day of junior high school, the teacher asked to do homework and draw an avatar, and the students would definitely say that it is difficult to draw and how to draw it. As a teacher, we should start with the teaching that students are familiar with and can draw. My teaching method is to let them draw and sketch by themselves, and let all students draw with low ability. If not, students' enthusiasm for painting will be dampened. So sometimes we have to give them the freedom to create, and let students start from their interests and draw what they like. Einstein famously said, "Interest is the best teacher", and interest often produces "phased" results. It is necessary to seize the achievements made by students, give them praise and affirmation in time, and draw the homework assigned by the teacher after they taste the sweetness, so that students can win and make progress. Only by understanding students' psychology and guiding them correctly can teachers cultivate their interest and improve their innovative ability. 2. Change the teaching concept and improve the aesthetic consciousness. The limitation of rural teaching conditions and the difference of teachers' level make the art education in rural areas uneven, and the individual knowledge of art teachers is also different. Art class is not to train students to be painters, to require enrollment rate, or to cope with a class or simply to coax students. The world in students' eyes can never be described at the level of adults, because their visual image is a combination of intuition and imagination. Only with the growth of age, the accumulation of knowledge and the improvement of skills can it gradually become the reappearance of intuition and understanding, and it is possible to become an active re-creation. Students should be allowed to cultivate their sentiment, cultivate their ability and improve their aesthetic consciousness in the learning process. Therefore, in teaching and learning, students should not be evaluated by too high a standard. It depends on whether the painting truly reflects the students' inner feelings and whether it has a unique and novel performance. Praise more and blame less. 3. Change the classroom teaching mode, start with interest, and improve creativity. 3. 1 Reform teaching methods. Under the influence of traditional teaching, teaching is very "serious", and classroom teaching is regarded as a place to impart knowledge only, but it fails to educate people, educate people and develop intelligence. However, the teaching method is simple, conventional and old-fashioned. Teachers talk and students listen, which leads to students' rigid thinking and lack of interest, thus limiting the development of students' thinking ability and creativity. Therefore, we must reform the classroom teaching methods. Art education is vivid and has its unique advantages in aesthetic education, intellectual development and ideological and moral education for students. However, how to give full play to and expand its advantages depends on whether teachers can boldly reform teaching methods and innovate, and strive to create a relaxed, pleasant and interesting learning environment and atmosphere for students according to their interest characteristics and cognitive rules, so as to eliminate the learning pressure in students' hearts and make students feel that learning is not a burden, but a kind of enjoyment and entertainment. For example, in the lesson of "Treasures of Local Art" in Grade One, we might as well let them go back to the game teaching of "Like Raytheon" with red scarf mask in childhood, cutting their eyes and sticking their tongues. So that they can easily understand the positional relationship between Raytheon and totem in the game and master the proportional relationship of human facial features. Because of the limitations of rural school conditions, many courses cannot be carried out. If you are a compound teacher, some classroom teaching contents can only be simple lectures, and even students can read books by themselves. We should make the best use of the existing conditions in rural areas to carry out classroom teaching. Let students feel more truly that art comes from life, and life is the source of creation. This kind of classroom is a paradise to cultivate rural children's interest, so that students can learn knowledge and master skills in interest, get the best learning effect and give full play to the leading role of classroom activities. At the same time, it also cultivates students' observation ability, thinking ability and composition ability. Modern education should not be limited to the rigid transmission of knowledge, but should be interest-oriented and use situational teaching mode to create an interesting classroom atmosphere and achieve the purpose of aesthetic education. Confucius said, "Those who know are not as good as those who love; People who love it are not as good as those who enjoy it. "This sentence of Confucius reveals a secret of how to achieve good academic performance, and that is the love of learning. Different people have different learning effects in the same learning environment. Of course, one's own quality is on the one hand, and what is more important is the learner's attitude or feeling towards the learning content. Art education should be accomplished through appropriate teaching methods. Therefore, we should adopt different teaching methods according to the teaching materials and different contents, activate the classroom and cultivate students' interest. Teachers should be creative and innovative, make students feel interested, attract students' attention, arouse students' positive thinking and achieve good learning results. 3.2 Make full use of existing equipment, intuitive teaching. Only doing a good job in classroom teaching is half the battle, which can improve students' art knowledge and cultivate their creative ability. Art teachers can't "play games" every day, which is boring. To do a good job in active classroom teaching, we should also use the existing equipment to cultivate students' interest and have a good art class. Confucius said, "Knowing is not as good as being kind, and being kind is not as good as being happy." Interest is the best teacher. If students are not interested, passive learning will directly affect the teaching effect. At present, the main problem of art class is the lack of relevant teaching materials and equipment (some schools have only a few teaching materials for dozens of students in a class). In the appreciation class, some works have been reprinted many times and the color effect is poor. There are few pictures, so it is difficult to arouse students' interest and stimulate their aesthetic feeling. It is necessary for teachers to let students draw pictures at will and supplement them with modern teaching equipment. Find some materials for students to watch and appreciate through the teacher's network. Stimulate students through sounds, images and music to stimulate their interest. Some schools have been equipped with multimedia classrooms, and we can also provide students with a large number of intuitive and vivid perceptual materials from all angles by means of multimedia audio-visual education, and liberate students from boring lectures through vivid and rich materials with pictures and texts. It is very beneficial to cultivate students' artistic interest. Only through a large number of works appreciation and teaching demonstrations can students increase their perceptual knowledge and stimulate their interest. Only through constant artistic edification can students improve their creative ability. For example, the course "Curiosity of Paper and Ink" in senior one is very troublesome for teachers to demonstrate and difficult for students to watch because of the limitation of classroom conditions, so we can demonstrate it on TV with DVD. Let students appreciate the work first, and then watch the painting process and technique performance. Only in this way can we arouse students' interest and truly appreciate the connotation of beauty. At the same time, it can reduce the burden on teachers and solve the problem that students don't want to attend classes. 3.3 Classroom teaching content is moderate, and training is hierarchical. In the process of classroom teaching, it is mainly to let students sketch more and copy less, and train at different levels according to the different requirements of grades. Junior students mainly practice different kinds of objects, and the observation requirements are low. We should start with simple stippling, from point-line-surface-body, step by step, step by step, and not ask students from difficult aspects, which will make some students feel difficult and retreat. Through this type of practice, students' self-confidence can be greatly improved. After simple sketch training, students can strengthen the memory performance of things through dictation, so that students can observe things carefully. Regular practice of this kind can cultivate students' imagination and innovation ability.
