China and Japan, separated only by a strip of water, are both world-famous etiquette countries, which shine brilliantly in the long river of the times. In today's world economic integration, exchanges between countries are becoming more and more frequent. As a part of interpersonal communication, table manners especially show its importance. Respecting and accommodating different cultures is also one of the important topics that we must learn when we are about to enter the society. As a social person, because of work, we have to face a lot of entertainment. It is necessary to know the basic knowledge of table manners in order not to cause unpleasantness to the other party who dines together, but also to taste the dishes happily.

On the basis of comparing the differences of table manners between China and Japan, this paper understands the differences of table manners between China and Japan, and studies the natural view and group consciousness of China and Japan.
