Conventionally, when binding printed documents or materials, in most cases, it is required not to display the page number on the cover, but to display the page number "1" from the second page (that is, the text).

His usual method is to make the cover and text into two documents to solve it, but he thinks this method is not "formal" and I wonder if this problem can be solved with one document. Under my guidance, he solved the problem quickly. Now I tell my friends this method, and the specific steps are as follows:

1. Move the cursor to the end of the last line of the home page, click Insert → Delimiter to open the Delimiter dialog box, select "Continuous" in section break type, and click [OK].

2. Delete the blank lines generated on the second page, move the cursor to any position on the second page, execute the "Insert → Page Number" command, click the [Format] button in the subsequent page number dialog box, and select "Start Page Number" in the "Page Number Arrangement" column.

3. Press the [OK] button twice to exit the page number dialog box. At this time, you will see that the page numbers on the first page and the second page are "1". Return the cursor to the first page, enter the page number dialog box again, and uncheck "Show page number on the first page".
