The Creation Background, Music Image and Style of the First Movement of Beethoven's Third Piano Sonata
Hello, I wrote this paper right after graduation. The following sections are for your reference.

Don't let Beethoven stay away from us (appreciation of Beethoven's third piano sonata)

This short essay on visualizing music was also written six months ago. Again. I don't want to limit everyone's enjoyment of pure music, nor do I want to limit everyone's personal imagination. The metaphor here is just to make it easier for everyone to listen to songs. Now I am practicing this piece of music and preparing it as a piano piece for the postgraduate entrance examination. I still like Beethoven's early works very much.

Piano Sonata No.3 in C Major Op.2

Compared with those well-known titles (moonlight, storm, sadness), his works are actually deeper.

Almost all music experts are emphasizing Beethoven's heroism. People look up to the "hero" under the explanation of "experts" and look up to how the hero "grabs the throat of fate", and then find that compared with Beethoven, he can only pinch his delicate neck. Under such guidance, people are getting farther and farther away from Beethoven, and our era is no longer the era of heroes. If an artist still thinks that he was chosen by God to reveal eternal truth to his ignorant peers, then his art will definitely fail, even his life. Therefore, it will only be boring to shout out the truth that "Beethoven is the power of heroes" in the ears of extremely realistic and impetuous people, so that people will read "Beethoven", which means surging momentum and majestic power. It is true that many of Beethoven's works conform to his fierce image, but too many people only see this side of him. In such an era when all values are shaken, too many people naturally stay away from Beethoven, and gradually, we lose it. When encountering setbacks, Beethoven gave you the courage to never give in; When you need quiet meditation, Beethoven gives you the warmest and softest chapter; When the spirit is empty, Beethoven will lead your thoughts to the far-reaching vision of the universe and understand the harmony between heaven and earth beyond your narrow feelings. Unfortunately, people often ignore Beethoven's soft chapters and profound philosophical thoughts. I'm here to kill him.

Piano Sonata Op2 No.3 in C major is about the gentle and honest side of this giant. The next part will take the masterpiece "Ninth Symphony" in the history of symphony as an example to expound more important and far-reaching philosophical thoughts.

The first three sonatas (Op2) obviously have some traditions of Haydn and Mozart. But since the third song, Beethoven's revolutionary originality has been fully released.

The first few bars of the first movement didn't surprise people, and they still danced like Mozart. But the left-handed triplet transition and the sudden outbreak of triad in C major are refreshing, just like a sunny boy. This is just a trivial attempt, and the most beautiful thing appears behind it: emotion unexpectedly turns into intoxicating lingering, and gentle minor chords are slowly telling. That wonderful feeling can only be felt by the listener, just like a shy girl who wants to refuse and welcome. Unfortunately, the wonderful happiness lasted only two sentences and then became the running and stress of sixteenth notes. In the development of variation again and again, the two theme images-boy and girl-pursued endlessly until the main triad ended completely and everything was calm.

Does the adagio of the second movement make you impatient? If so, then I advise you not to read my music words in the future, because you really don't have ears to put music in. If an ordinary person feels a little bored, it is normal to whisper for more than ten seconds at the beginning of the exercise. But then the music entered E minor, and the slow and even broken string was accompanied by melody. What's more, he was quietly pouring out his sadness. Under the infection of this kind of grief and indignation, the sad melody line, which was just a sigh at first, gradually raised its voice uncontrollably, and set off this venting poem with ambiguous harmony. Slowly, inadvertently, the music changed from melancholy E minor to calm E major, and once again sang the faint sentimental tune at the beginning of the movement, and everything returned to dullness until the final silence. .....

If necessary, I can find other materials for you, and I suggest you compare this early work with the middle and late works to write.
