On the importance of combining national defense with military theory
Nowadays, with the rapid economic development in China, people's living standards and cultural quality have been greatly improved, which is indeed worthy of our rejoicing, but there are also many hidden dangers behind this prosperity, and we must be aware of this. Lack of national defense awareness is a major hidden danger. Now let me talk about the importance of developing national defense. The history of the Chinese nation is full of disasters and soaked with blood and tears, but why can we Chinese nation live forever when the other three ancient civilizations (Egypt, Babylon and India) are extinct and passed down from generation to generation? Apart from our unique culture (the people of China are harmonious) and the factors of people's hard work and unity, a very important reason is that the rulers of past dynasties have attached great importance to national defense construction. Throughout the history of China, whenever the country is strong (such as the Qin Dynasty and the Western Han Dynasty), its military strength ranks among the best in the world without exception. On the other hand, in those humiliating times (such as the Southern Song Dynasty and the Late Qing Dynasty), the relaxation of national defense was their common feature. Today, although China's national defense force is very strong, it still can't meet the growing needs of the country, so it is difficult for the China Navy to protect the sea routes of our merchant ships. What's more, we are faced with the containment of the West, and there are many neighboring military powers (such as Japan and Russia), and imperialism is always eyeing China. In view of the above two points, I think China should vigorously develop its national defense, with the focus on the navy and air force, informationization and national defense education. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the navy and air force have always been China's weakness (the Japanese navy is stronger than the China navy). For the development of the navy and air force, the main task is to develop and equip aircraft carriers and large aircraft as soon as possible and increase the number of advanced equipment. To develop informatization, it is necessary to strengthen the cooperative combat capability of various services and arms, speed up the transmission of intelligence data and the construction of * * * sharing systems (such as data links), and improve the anti-jamming capability of the troops. Finally, I want to emphasize national defense education. National defense education is the weakest link in national defense construction at present, but it is vital to the future of a country and a nation. I also took a national defense education course in primary school, but I didn't have the same experience in junior high school. Nowadays, many teenagers know almost nothing about China's territorial and sovereignty disputes, which is really terrible. Imagine that in China in the future, everyone only thinks about their own interests, and doesn't care about the prestige of the country and the nation, then our end is not far away. In a word, China should not only attach importance to the development of economy and education, but also attach importance to the development of national defense and enhance its military strength. We would rather be militarists than be enslaved. There is an essential difference between existence and extinction. Writing here reminds me of the tens of thousands of soldiers killed in the Nanjing Massacre. At that time, the strength of the national army and the Japanese army was 1.5 million: 50,000, and the equipment of the Kuomintang Central Army (mainly the ordnance division) was not worse than that of the Japanese army. It stands to reason that Nanjing can last at least one month. But what is the result? These soldiers gave up their resistance in an attempt to drag out an ignoble existence and were finally killed by the Japanese army. This gives us a piece of advice: there is no peace without sacrifice, and there is no survival without resistance. Finally, I hope everyone can make an oath that countless German soldiers will resist to the end: my honor is loyalty, and we will build or defend it with actions in the near future.
