James gosling (1955 May 19-, born in Canada), a software expert and one of the co-founders of the Java programming language, is recognized as the "father of Java".

By the time he 12 years old, he had been able to design video games and help his neighbors repair harvesters. During my college years, I worked as a program developer in the Department of Astronomy. 1977 received a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Calgary, Canada, and 1983 received a doctor's degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. My doctoral thesis is entitled "Algebraic Manipulation of Constraints". After graduation, I went to work in IBM to design the news system of IBM's first generation workstation, but it was not taken seriously. Later transferred to Sun Company. 1990, he cooperated with Patrick Naughton and Mike Xie Lidan in the "Green Project", and later developed a language called "Oak", which was later renamed as Java. 1At the end of 994, james gosling presented the Java program at the "Technology, Education and Design Conference" held in Silicon Valley. In 2000, Java became the most popular computer language in the world.

In April 2009, Sun was acquired by Oracle Bone Inscriptions Company. James announced his resignation from Oracle Bone Inscriptions Company on April 20 10.
