The story of tea salt is a story of Tibetan love, which is mainly spread in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Main idea of the story: On the east and west banks of a big river (such as Jinsha River), there are two chiefs who have been feuding for generations. The East Toast family has a son and the West Toast family has a daughter. They have established pure love in their long grazing life. However, the relationship between them was naturally opposed by the people, especially the western toast. They thought that the son of the eastern toast intended to "hurt" his daughter, so the western toast sent someone to shoot the son of the eastern toast with a poisonous arrow, but the girl jumped into the fire that burned her lover angrily and died. When the ashes of the two were reunited, the western toast was forcibly buried in two places; When they turn into two flowers and bloom together, the western toast breaks them alive; When they turned into two birds and sang together, the western toast killed the birds alive again. Faced with the stubborn and ferocious feudal forces, the two lovers had to leave their homes. The hero fled to the lake in the grassland in northern Tibet and became salt, while the heroine fled to the mountains in the Central Plains and became tea. In this way, when people drink buttered tea, the lovers can meet quietly again, and no one can separate them anymore. This folk story sharply exposed the dark reality that marriage could not be independent under serfdom, criticized the overbearing behavior and ugly soul of feudal chiefs, and aroused people's hatred of the old system; Art has a touching charm. The artistic image of young rebels in the works embodies the precious qualities of Tibetan youth, such as loyalty, integrity, fear of violence, fear of sacrifice, courage to fight for ideals and sacrifice for freedom. This story fully shows the artistic effect of tragedy.
