Process control is a quality management method focusing on prevention. It is a necessary means for enterprises to improve and stabilize product quality. Through the cultivation of operators' quality awareness and the monitoring of key processes, I can gradually ensure the products I process and achieve the goal of continuous quality improvement.
Keywords: process control; Quality consciousness; Quality control points; Prevention; Key process
Based on prevention, process control uses statistical technology to evaluate and monitor each stage of production, and establishes and maintains the process at an acceptable and stable level, thus ensuring that the products meet the specified requirements. In recent years, process control has been widely used in production as an advanced method and an important means to ensure product quality. Due to the rapid development of science and technology and the strengthening of quality assurance measures, it is more and more possible to reduce the unqualified rate of products. For example, the failure rate of electronic products has dropped from one percent and one thousandth in the past to one millionth or even one millionth. This is the result of continuously improving the level of process control. Only high-level process control can produce high-quality products.
As an aviation enterprise like ours, its products are not only related to the safety of people and planes, but also to the reputation and national defense strength of the country. Therefore, it is particularly important to actively introduce the management methods and means of process control into quality management to improve our management level and ensure product quality.
At present, process control is widely used in production by many managers as a method and means of quality control. On the one hand, the implementation of process control can improve the quality awareness of operators; On the other hand, we can better implement the quality management principle of prevention first. So how to control the process in production? I want to talk about my superficial understanding according to the practice of implementing process control in factories.
1 Educate operators to understand the important role of process control in quality.
The implementation of process control in the production process requires operators to have high technical level and quality awareness. Only by improving these qualities of operators can process control become an active and conscious action of operators. We can see the quality assurance function of process control. So how to improve the quality awareness of employees? After several years of practice, our factory has found the following experiences:
1. 1 Train operators from both theoretical knowledge and practical operation, so as to improve workers' theoretical level and technical level. First of all, according to the characteristics of different positions, the factory makes different training plans to train operators. Secondly, in order to ensure the training effect, the operators are given theoretical and practical operation examinations after training. Examination results, as an assessment index for workers to renew their contracts and raise their wages, have greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of workers to study consciously.
1.2 Strengthen the education of three views of operators. That is, the education of quality view, customer view and behavior view can improve workers' quality consciousness. We posted the "Three Views" bulletin board, organized the "Three Views" test paper to answer questions, and incorporated "Three Views" into the enterprise quality culture.
1.3 Carry out the activities of "self-classification, self-control, self-inspection and self-assurance" and "three processes" to cultivate workers' quality awareness through practice in the production process.
1.4 implement the system of individual compensation for wasted losses, implement the system of quality veto, and use economic means to restrain the quality behavior of operators.
In terms of quality management, we implement a quality compensation system, which stipulates that personal waste products shall be fully compensated below 500 yuan and proportionally compensated above 500 yuan. Workers should enhance their quality awareness, consciously learn technology, improve their personal technical level, and strive to reduce the impact of waste loss on personal income.
1.5 Adhere to the long-term quality awareness education.
Quality education cannot be a short-term behavior. Quality problems must be talked about every day, every month and every year. A slight negligence will paralyze people and cause product quality problems. We use the team's pre-class meeting every day to talk about quality, so that everyone can talk about it and the alarm will ring.
2. Pay attention to the key process control of production
The key to production, as the name implies, is the key step of production. Includes key parts and key working procedures. These parts have complex technical requirements, great processing difficulty and high processing cost. Product quality problems are often these parts. If we control the difficulty, we can minimize the loss of waste products. Therefore, it is an inevitable choice to highlight the key process control of production. In recent years, the factory has always regarded the control of key processes as an important work of process control. Each workshop has a quality control point for controlling key production processes. Grasping the key process control of production must do the following work:
2. 1 Select quality control points and grasp the key process control of production. First of all, determine which are the key points of production, that is, choose quality control points. The principle of selecting quality control points is key parts, important parts and parts with great processing difficulty and high value. Highlight the process control of new products. Moreover, the proportion of quality control points should be convenient for quality control personnel to effectively control within their capabilities. If these parts are controlled, great quality loss can be avoided. After the quality control point is determined, the operator will be more careful than during normal processing. In this way, the processing difficulties affecting the product quality are controlled and the product quality is improved.
2.2 Develop reasonable quality control point assessment indicators.
After the quality control points are determined, strict supervision and assessment must be carried out for the quality control points, which requires the determination of assessment indicators for the quality control points.
We believe that the evaluation index of quality control point is mainly quality index, which can not be too high or too low, so as to promote the improvement of quality level and arouse the enthusiasm of operators.
We have formulated the following assessment indicators:
2.2. 1 quality control point products must be "three noes" products, that is, "no reworked products, no reworked products and no waste products".
2.2.2 Quality control point products shall submit the qualification rate index at one time.
2.2.3 First submission qualification rate refers to the first submission qualification rate of products, and controlling this index is conducive to reducing "three noes".
2.2.4 Classification submission accuracy index.
The accuracy index of classification submission is the embodiment of the accuracy of self-classification of products processed by operators themselves. Controlling this index will help operators understand the products they process and improve their ability of self-processing and self-protection.
2.3 Incorporate process control into the factory's assessment system for each section 2.3. 1 Take the indicators of quality control points completed by each section as the assessment indicators of each section, conduct strict assessment, and determine the rewards and punishments of each section according to the assessment results.
2.3.2 For parts that meet the requirements of assessment indicators, different weight coefficients are formulated according to their values, and workers' wages are increased according to working hours as quality bonuses, so as to arouse the enthusiasm of workers to participate in process control.
2.3.3 Failing to meet the requirements of assessment indicators, different weight coefficients shall be formulated according to the product value, and wages shall be deducted according to the weight coefficients.
2.3.4 Make original records of quality control points for quality control personnel to analyze the process control effect.
It is necessary to make original records of quality control points. By collecting, analyzing and sorting the data of quality control points, quality managers can know what state the production is in, and use the control chart to provide original data for the trend of the analysis process.
Control chart is an effective tool to control the production process.
Control chart is to measure, record and evaluate the characteristic values of process quality, so as to monitor whether the process is under control. This is a chart designed by statistical method. There are centerline, upper control limit and lower control limit on the graph, and there is a tracking order of sample statistics extracted in time sequence. By controlling the change trend of points in the diagram, we can find the change trend of the process and take control measures to keep the production process under control. It can be seen that the control chart is an effective tool for our process control. Because of the advantages of accuracy, distinctiveness and simplicity, control charts have been paid more and more attention by countries all over the world and widely used in production process control. For example, Kodak Color Film Company in the United States has 5,000 employees and used 35,000 control charts.
There are many kinds of control charts, and there are also different control charts for measurement data and counting data. At work, we often use measurement data to control charts. When implementing process control in our factory, on the basis of determining quality control points, we draw X-R mean range control charts for key dimensions of some parts to monitor their production process.
We know the following information from the picture:
3. 1 size of process capability index Cp.
3.2 Whether the process is in a stable state.
3.3 Whether there is any abnormality in the process.
For example, when we machine a shaft part, we draw a point for each machining. When the turning tool is worn, the diameter of the part becomes larger, and the idea in the figure will have a trend. When we see this trend, the operator will sharpen the tool in time, and it also provides a basis for us to determine how many parts can be processed by sharpening the tool once, which is convenient for refining the process documents. According to the machining size of each part, we can also calculate the average value, range and process capability index of the part, understand the current process situation and determine the next improvement goal.
It can be seen that the control chart is a good helper for our quality workers.
A good control chart can help us find many problems, which is very beneficial for us to monitor the production process.
After the implementation of process control, the quality of the factory has been greatly improved, the quality awareness of employees has been improved, and more attention has been paid to the quality of work. According to the quality statistics of the factory in recent years, the waste loss decreased by about 15% year by year, and various quality problems also showed a downward trend. Through process control, the factory has benefited a lot.
